DOT certification I brought my 2013 Sonic in for a DOT certification and since the car has been lovingly maintained since new, I did not expect any surprises. unfortu I brought my 2013 Sonic in for a DOT certification and since the car has been lovingly maintained since new, I did not expect any surprises. unfortunately Applewood insisted that due to the car sitting in my garage for a few months, the brake rotors had somehow moved out of round. I really doubt if this is even possible. They charged me $400 +taxes labour cost to grind the brake rotors.. the total time for the work was 1.5 hours or $267 per hour! The rotors barely looked sny difftent when finishedm Aaargghh... my trust in this dealer is gone. More
