Words can't express how grateful I am. I had no plans to purchase/lease a new car. Unfortunately, last week my car died. Ultimately the issue was the transmission and I was not about to pay I had no plans to purchase/lease a new car. Unfortunately, last week my car died. Ultimately the issue was the transmission and I was not about to pay the 3,000 dollars to fix it. The following afternoon I decided to visit the Chevy dealership. I needed a car and I was not about to leave without one. When I walked in I was greeted immediately. The manager was kind enough to introduce me to Russell....that's where my crappy two days started to turn around. I think Russell could read the stress across my face. I told him my budget and he did everything to stay within that. His ability to explain every detail to me was exactly what I needed. I had so many questions and without hesitation he had an answer. With his help I decided that leasing was the best option. Although he helped me solve one problem, which was obtaining a car, there still remained a problem. How was I going to get to work tomorrow?! My car was not going to be ready until Monday. That left me with four days without transportation. Russell asked me if I needed a rental, I said I did but was worried about what that would cost. He told me not to worry. After all the paper work was signed he told me he had my rental car ready. I could not believe it! Little did I know it was HIS OWN PERSONAL CAR! Are you kidding me?! How can I accept that. But he would not take no for an answer. He said it was more important for me to have a car then him. I've already passed his card to a few people. There are not enough positive things I can say. He is honest, kind, respectful and personable. If there was an award to be given for best experience or best service that award should go to Russell. Thank you for the most wonderful experience. Best service man I've ever met. More

When I went to Applewood to look for a new car to lease -- I was just "browsing". I hadn't intended on leasing a car that very day, but after speaking with Russell Dowswell, I leased a new Cadillac SRX th -- I was just "browsing". Russell is a very energetic and knowledgeable sales representative for Applewood. I was particularly impressed with his enthusiasm and his knowledge about the car, knowledge that was gained by working as a mechanic at Applewood before moving into sales. I believe this has helped him to understand the car he is selling, and in that way, better explain the features to his customers. I was also impressed with his follow-up after I finalized the lease transaction. There were a number of questions I had which I emailed to him and he responded on a very timely basis. He also offered to have one of the Applewood service staff install licence plate covers which I was having difficulty with. He definitely didn't have to do this, as I didn't even ask him to follow up on this particular issue. Al in all, I had a very satisfying customer experience with Applewood generally and Russell Dowswell, in particular. I would definitely recommend both to my friends and family. More

Russel and Applewood helped us with every step when purchasing our first ever vehicle. We did our research beforehand on the make and model we wanted, a Chevrolet Trax, and Russel took us for a test d purchasing our first ever vehicle. They're a friendly and courteous group and very welcoming. Russel arranged our financing and helped us choose the options for our Trax. While waiting for the car to be made/delivered Russel kept us in the loop of what was going on. When the car was delivered to the dealership, Russel prepared all our paperwork and it took less than 20 minutes to get behind the wheel our new car. They quickly handled a last minute decision we made to have winter tires installed for the Trax. The pricing was fair, basically it was the MSRP for the car. Overall it was a great experience and would highly recommend Applewood and Russ for service. More

Purchased a new 2014 Chev Cruze from Nabil. Having previously owned a 2011, I was in the market to purchase a new one. I took the LT1 for a test drive and that was the car. I am so glad he told me about other Chevy Cruze models. After the sale he spent quite a bit of time to explain everything about the car to me. Even though the dealership was closing for the evening, he did not care about that, he wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied and new everything about the car.
