I purchased a used 2023 CRV in April. I was given a clean CarFax, a signed Honda Certified Mechanical Inspection form stating an oil change was mandatory and completed, my oil life also s I was given a clean CarFax, a signed Honda Certified Mechanical Inspection form stating an oil change was mandatory and completed, my oil life also stated 100% on the dash when I picked up the vehicle. The salesperson told me it was a “management vehicle” when I asked him why it was traded in with only 11,000km on it. (I later found out that it was actually a service loaner which was not disclosed to me). I found out three months later, by fluke, that the vehicle had engine issues a month prior to my purchase that the dealership serviced but did not report any of it to CarFax (I was told the dealership “doesn't report to CarFax”, yet I was given what I thought was a clean CarFax from the dealer when they knew the vehicle had engine issues the month before). I also found out, despite my signed inspection form, that the oil was in fact not changed when I bought it even though the oil life was reset to 100%, I also found out that the vehicle had never had a single oil change at all since it was manufactured in 2022. I never would have learned any of this information if it wasn’t for one little fluke that lead me to start asking questions and digging deeper into this. I reached out to the dealership and argued back and forth with them for a good month, I filed a complaint with AMVIC (also appealed that complaint), I filed a complaint with Honda Canada (also appealed that complaint), I filed a complaint with the BBB, I also found the head office mailing address for the owner of the dealership and sent a written letter to the owner trying to have this absolutely ridiculous situation resolved. The only good thing that came from my entire experience with Alberta Honda, was that within 10 days of mailing the written letter to the owner, I had a different manager reach out to me with another option. The dealership bought back my 2023 and put me into a 2025 CRV which came with a lower interest rate and a small decrease in payments. So, at this point, all I can do is hope that I wasn’t taken advantage of a second time. More

I brought my 2017 Honda Pilot in without an appointment and they took it in on Friday August 30th. It was to be done on Saturday but being a holiday weekend I didn't get it tll the following Tuesday. On the positive side I got my injectors done under warranty which was totally awsome but it was difficult to communicate with them as I phoned them not to replace my plugs as they were already done but it didn't get to the right person.
