I was a little unsure when I started looking at vehicles being a 50 (something) woman purchasing on my own. Would I know what to look for? Would I be treated as a reasonably intelligent individual? Would they respect my budget? Would they give me enough technical information about the vehicle without being overwhelming? Well Anas met and exceeded my expectations. Hands-down Alberta Honda knows how to treat a purchaser right! Anas was on time for our appointment (yes that is important!), showed me only the vehicle I was looking for and was not pushy or trying to sell me something out of my budget. Anas has a great attitude, is very polite and respectful, knowledgeable, willing to answer all my questions (I had 2,000!!) and has a great sense of humor. Alberta Honda was willing to negotiate reasonably with me when other dealerships would not – that really impressed me! Everyone I met at Alberta Honda was friendly and co-operative from the Director of First Impressions to the Sales Manager to the Finance Manager. How often do you get to say – “I had a lot of fun buying my car?” My next purchase will definitely be at Alberta Honda – no need to go anywhere else when you get treated right! From the moment we arrived to the minute I left with my new Honda Civic, this has been an excellent experience. It's too soon to rate the quality of service but I can't believe it would be any different than what we've experienced to date. Fair deal on my trade in and clear and understandable pricing. I loved that Adam did not try to up-sell us on a different model or trim line. He listened to what we wanted and was willing to do anything to get us what we wanted. The whole experience was fast, not dragged out like at some dealerships, and Adam delivered as promised. He even took about a hour out of his time to explain how everything worked in the car and answered all our questions with great patience before we drove away. The whole purchase process was a great experience during which I felt understood, trusted, never pressured and supported throughout. The price is also reasonable. Although Alberta Honda is the first Honda dealer we visited because it opens on Sunday, Richard's professional and honest approach let us to make a quick decision that we should make a purchase there based on our previous experience on purchasing a Corrolla a few years ago. We definately recommend Alberta Honda as a dealer and Richard Lam as a salesman to anyone looking buy a Honda in Edmonton area. More

He answered most of my questions in a timely manner, even when I got aggressive with negotiating and he kept a courteous manner throughout. I actually enjoyed dealing with him as he was pretty straightforward with me and I highly recommend his services. Danny Paulino was the sales manager who closed the sale--I appreciated his straightforward style and willingness to negotiate. He accepted my offer with minimal fuss which honestly made the experience of purchasing my new Civic that much easier. Ray Tarrabain handled the finances side of it and there was truly no pressure here to buy any extras. Overall, my experience here was very good. HOWEVER, I do caution you to do your due diligence, your research and make sure that all the numbers align properly EXACTLY as discussed. I unfortunately made the mistake of assuming that the deal was closed before I had signed the final papers and ended up paying a little more than agreed to. Given that the staff was really accommodating up until that point, I let the issue go (it may have been a communications error, to be honest, hard to say). I've also been a customer with Alberta Honda for 14 years for my previous car so I was happy that I was able to continue my long-term relationship with this dealership. More
