Hi, my name is Alex Yachimec. One of the new car sales managers at Alberta Honda and also one of the ones attached to this comment. I would like to start off by explaining our side of the story and what actually happened. I feel most of what was said is not correct and I would like to elaborate on that. When we first met this client our dealership was nothing but accommodating. This was a Saturday night and our dealership closes at 6. We showed many options to make sure a vehicle would fit within the required budget. After looking at a lower model civic she decided to look at the CIVIC SI SEDAN (top model). Took a test drive and agreed to numbers. We went out of our way to suggest taking it home for the weekend to make sure it was the right vehicle for her. We then took a deposit subject to weekend test drive. Any transaction like this requires a credit application with a signature because it is actually ILLEGAL to pull credit without authorization which we did have. We loaned out a $28000 car we needed to make sure we covered ourselves as well. The car was then returned Monday evening at approximately 7pm (closing time is 9). We then sat down and she explained to me that she would like to hold off for now which I had no problem with. I of course asked if there was anything else I could do but then explained I could refund the deposit tomorrow. We have a process just like many dealers. Our job is to make sure the vehicle loaned out is not damaged and in the same condition as it was loaned out in. So the following day we washed it and looked it over. Therefor her deposit was returned the following day after returning the car. We will NEVER hold a deposit as it is unethical and honestly not very good business practice. In no way did we show any disrespect, lie or fabricate rules. We also tried to Contact this client many times by email, phone and never got a response. Honda more than any manufacturer holds us to a high level of customer service which we strive to exceed. In this day ANY business no matter what it is relies heavily on referral, repeat clientele and word of mouth. Alberta Honda has grown more than ever in the past few months because of the management staff put in place, service staff, and front end sales staff. Focusing on training and customer satisfaction and making it a top priority. I take pride in working here and care about any issue and would like to resolve them personally. As this is a family owned and operated business.
