Purchased a used 2016 santa fe with 105 000km under their certified preowned guarantee. The engine seized at 115 000km. I dealt with Lilly, who was very courteous and great to deal with. Lilly was the best part of an otherwise terrible experience. I told him that they might be the exception, but he continued to say that I was stereotyping car salespeople. I cancelled the deal on the spot and also used some salty language when he kept repeating himself about how I stereotyped car salespeople as not to be trusted. As far as I am concerned, my statement, as I am sure most people would agree, stands by itself. Personally, I would not recommend Ajax Hyundai based solely on the attitude of the general manager. The lack of communication isn't good and i have wasted because they were honest from the start. I paid 400 something for the man to tell me after they put my old tires on that i need new tires. Unfortunately I'm leaving this negative review however I am willing to update it when the problem is fixed accordingly. Back in April I bought a vehicle from the dealership it was certified. The moment t am willing to update it when the problem is fixed accordingly. Back in April I bought a vehicle from the dealership it was certified. The moment that I got the vehicle I've had brakes squealing. after the vehicle's been driven for about 20 minutes or so it just gets louder and louder and it stays throughout the day. This is an issue that yes should be corrected because it is a part of the safety. and for the vehicle I have called the dealership and they assured me that I could come in and have the brakes looked at and fixed. The person in question that's been helping me with this process his name is Brian, and he's been really great in terms of talking and communicating and trying to help me figure out this issue. however the problem now is that I've come to this dealership maybe six or seven times. I've lost count and every time I'm not really giving an exact answer on what's the issue is but they do hear the squealing. They have replaced the front rotors and pads and the squealing still persists which means there's something else going on. It's a really loud squeal and every time I go there I haven't had a chance to drive the vehicle for very long, so the squealing when I get there isn't as bad, but I've told them that if they go drive it out for 20 minutes or longer it just gets really loud. and it's you can hear from down the street and unfortunately my job involves dealing with clients a lot and I can't have my brakes squealing like that I mean they shouldn't be squealing in general. I think the real issue for me is that it wasn't once or twice that we've tried to look at this, but it's that I've been to the dealership so many times now. and every time I have to make sure that I have somebody come pick me up and it's such an inconvenience that I really shouldn't have to do. At first I really appreciated them taking a look at the vehicle and making sure that they were going to fix it, but now that we've gone past this three or four times and going on at six or seven times of me being there. it's just I don't know what the point is at this point I have a regular mechanic that I used to go to, and after this review I think I am going to go to them.. because unfortunately I called and left a voicemail on Monday, it is now Saturday and I have not received a call back, which is a little unusual because in the past Brian has been pretty good at getting back to me. so I am leaving this review out of an attempt at getting a hold of you guys, and I don't know, but this vehicle needs to go to mitsubishi because the guys at Hyundai can't figure out what's going on, with the brakes squealing and we're just replacing things based on what we think it could be instead of really addressing what the actual issue is and because of this it's cost you guys your own money and for me it's costing a lot of my time as well as my money because I have to leave this car with you or take a day off or get my girlfriend to take a day off to help me with all this I'm not doing this anymore More
