Into a Golf R and STOKED! I recently leased a brand new 2019 Golf R at Abbotsford Volkswagen. My lease was coming due on my 2016 Golf GTI in September 2020, so I wanted to see I recently leased a brand new 2019 Golf R at Abbotsford Volkswagen. My lease was coming due on my 2016 Golf GTI in September 2020, so I wanted to see if there were any Covid-19 deals to be had to get into another VW before my lease expired. I was recommended to see Melissa Jakoby. I met up with her and Rohan Chahal. They let me test drive the Golf R that I specifically wanted. Afterwards we spent a couple hours together making the deal happen. They were very informative, helpful and accommodating in order to get me out the door with the car I wanted, along with great payments. Thanks to August, Ian and Cole for their insight and expertise when they were called upon to help as well. I highly recommend this location and the staff working there. Justin gives this appearance of being caring and professional, but I did not experience this at all. Justin lacked knowledge regarding the vehicle we had purchased, and this reflected during negatio professional, but I did not experience this at all. Justin lacked knowledge regarding the vehicle we had purchased, and this reflected during negations as Justin remained silent as the sales manager did all the negotiating Additionally, Justin was not truthful when I asked how long his dealership had owned the vehicle of interest. However, most of my concerns came after the sale was made. I asked for a second key for my 2018 purchase and this process took 2+ months as Justin appeared disinterested in helping me. I found that I was the one asking for updates and followups regarding the status of the additional key as Justin failed to provide professional customer service. Eventually, it got to the point where Justin failed to return my message, and therefore I had to phone the dealership myself and speak with a manager directly. This is based on my own experience, but I would not refer Justin or this dealership. More

Go elsewhere Don't deal with Abbotsford VW. Worst dealership I have ever dealt with. They are very nice and helpful until you buy the car and then they ignore you. Don't deal with Abbotsford VW. Worst dealership I have ever dealt with. They are very nice and helpful until you buy the car and then they ignore you. I have emailed, messaged, and called about the second key for my car and the dealer keeps saying that they do not have a second key. I have never purchased a car that didn't come with two sets of keys. This is my fifth VW, I like the car but this is the worst dealer I have ever dealt with out of four dealerships. Now they don't even answer my emails. The day after I bought my car the heat stopped working and the temps were below 0C. The certification paperwork even shows that everything in the car was in perfect order and that it had all keys. There were other issues too but the missing key is really maddening. When I enquired about the car via the website, I signed up and received an email with a $1,000 discount coupon that could be used towards the purchase of a car. After I got home and deciphered the paperwork, I noticed that the $1,000 had not been deducted. I email the sales person and asked why the discount was not applied and the response I received was that it had expired. The discount was valid for 30 days and I had purchased the car within a few days of receiving the email. There were a few items that needed to be cleaned and I was told they would be taken care of. Didn't happen. Someone from service touched the visor and the roof liner and there are black marks on the liner now. When I touched the visor, I got the black stuff on my fingers so I knew it was new. There was tape residue on the windshield and the roof of the car that was never cleaned. Stains have been showing up in the front seat and back seat where nobody has sat yet. When I mentioned it to the service department it was ignored. I have dealt with VW and domestic dealers but Abbotsford VW takes the cake for the worst car purchase experience. More
