WORST VEHICLE PURCHASE EVER! !! If I could give a negative star I would. It appears if u r not purchasing a used vehicle that is not a Volkswagen, u r a second class citizen and t !! We didn’t drive an aggressive hard bargain and put down a pretty good deposit. But this wasn’t enough for General Sales Manager Melissa Jakoby, she wanted another pound of flesh! We where shuttled off to meet with Annujaan Karuananithy, the finance manager(?) to start the process. His main concern was selling the add one they love to push. We politely but firmly said no thanks. He then suggests we meet with insurance person while he gets paperwork ready. After a brief visit with insurance, we come back to his office to find him on the phone with Melissa(had gone home). Why I ask myself, it didn’t feel right. Two con artists, confirming the plan for the con …. or a micro manager directing her minion? He puts her on speaker, she says as a “paisanos”(Italian for people that share place of origin … she claimed she was from Italy like my husband),we would get a good deal! So low rent of her! No “paisano”, she’s a “filibustered”(shyster in Italian). Annujaan hangs up & proceeds to tell us that Melissa can’t understand why we wouldn’t buy the extended warranty …claimed they had given us such a cheap deal, insinuating that they where doing us a favour!What!! Lies! Lies! Lies! We r taking used inventory off their hands, helping to reduce costs of carrying inventory for the dealership. Seriously!! I’ve never been so offended! He proceeded to try again to sell the extended warranty. Melissa, as a women, I thought you would understand that no means no! We where not allowed to sleep on it, we had to buy right now!! I smelled a rat! If they can’t sell the same product the next day u know u r being had. I researched later. & sure enough the dealership can make up to $2,000, and they want u to finance so we would also pat interest on it! So watch your back, they have a smile on their face, but their hands fleecing your wallet!! Shout out to Honda, who made my CRV purchase and driving home in my new vehicle a pleasant & exciting experience!! After over 4 hours, we left Abbotsford Volkswagen not feeling that way. We had to shower when we got home to wash off the SNAKE OIL!! 😠☹️☹️ More

Explained to them how to replicate a software bug in the car, they returned it back to me saying they were unable to replicate it and that it was working as designed. I had a tech drive with me and then I s car, they returned it back to me saying they were unable to replicate it and that it was working as designed. I had a tech drive with me and then I showed him the error and how it was able to be replicated. The tech then agreed it was not normal operation. Before that the service advisor was cocky enough to print out an excerpt from the owners manual that really didn’t cover what was happening as “evidence” and was ready to bill me for the warranty diag time. Luckily since I was able to show the tech the issue that wasn’t charged. I had shown the service advisor the issue and the steps to replicate it in the morning. After I had shown them the issue again they said they wanted to keep the car longer to investigate it. I told them I didn’t have the time for that today and that we would have to reschedule. They informed me that they would call me with a time and date, when they had a car available for me to take while they had my vehicle. That was about two months ago, and I’ve heard nothing from them since. The sales team is great, the service department is a joke. More
Had my 2020 tiguan in for a engine vibration concern ( you can feel it in the floor, seats and steering wheel). I was told that it was inherent of these cars and that there is nothing they could do. I bought it new from them and it didnt vibrate when I drove it off the lot, or I wouldnt have bought it. Everyone that ive shown it to there acknowledged the vibration and just shrugged their shoulders. I feel completely left out to deal with a issue on my $52000 Vehicle with only 23000 kms on it and was even charged $193 for my trouble."its what you signed for" is what the guy behind the counter said. The vehicle has a full warranty btw. Ive purchased 4 VWs from this dealership and have had all of the maintenance taken care of at this dealer. I live in white rock and still would drive the cars all the way out to abbotsford to have them taken care of. I was so taken back by the service that I took my name off the wait list for a ID4. I dont think I'll be recommending anyone nor will be doing business with them in the future. More

I had an awful experience and I would give zero stars if I could. I brought my car in to get a diagnosis and they determined that a couple parts under warranty needed to be changed. 1 week later they say my I could. I brought my car in to get a diagnosis and they determined that a couple parts under warranty needed to be changed. 1 week later they say my car is done but I can’t get it back unless I replace a 600$ part (a block heater). Why didn’t they notice this when diagnosing? Of course, I tell them to do it as they make it seem like it’s a huge problem but I ask them to keep the old block heater for me. Even though it’s a 1 hour job I get my car back 2 weeks later. I take the block heater 3 hours away to my dad who’s a red seal heavy duty mechanic and he tests it and it works totally fine. When I contact them to follow up about why I had I pay 600$ for a part that worked perfectly fine all they could offer me is one free oil change. Do not take your car here unless you want to pay for parts that work perfectly fine. More
