Rick was really the I between for the sales manager Derek who turned out to mislead use about the overall costs. We asked for x amount off the price and Rick returned and said "ok" this will be the bi-weekly payment. When we finally paid, we only got 25% of the discount we asked for without knowing! And yes they had got us to insure the vehicle before signing for it so we were trapped and couldn't walk away. In addition, they add a financing fee of $500 onto the list price, but another dealership told us that they shouldn't, as that's for people with bad credit and is 100% profit! More

I was prepared to visit three dealers that day- but after spending a short time with Jeff- I knew my need to look at other brands and models wasn't needed. Note that the Hyundai Canada website is excellent allowing us to knowingly choose the vehicle, color, and options we wanted and know the list price before negotiating. More

We had a clear explanation of one part of the interaction which at first upset our thinking about the latest purchase on January 27th, 2015. As explained to us - Hyundai Canada has a policy directive that the dealership cannot show on the vehicle - as it sits on the lot - those items added onto the vehicle by the dealership. This policy - by Hyundai CA is ridiculous. The sales person had to explain after a set price was seen on the sticker price that the dealer had added +/- $800.00 of items. We still are shocked that this is a Canada wide sales directive. I will discuss this Hyundai Policy with the Franchise Operator - Mitch Trotman of the TAG Auto Group. It is very difficult for sales personnel and purchasers. More
