My 89 year old dad took his 2011 Toyota Venza to Whitby Toyota for service. They always treated him like gold. His car had 322,000 km on it and it was time to replace it. We thought of purchasing a used ca Toyota for service. They always treated him like gold. His car had 322,000 km on it and it was time to replace it. We thought of purchasing a used car as prices have increased since Covid. When we went to the dealer the salesman asked if we considered a new car. I said no but he advised the price difference between old and new is minimal. Within the hour my dad purchased a new car with full warranty. Honestly the service department is fantastic. They know how to treat people and they don’t try to sell you something you don’t need. The car sales people are just perfect. Again, they didn’t try to sell us something we didn’t want. Our experience was excellent every time we visited. I highly recommend Whitby Toyota. More

I was in the right place at the right time. With Umair and his manager Mark, who allowed me a few days to get my insurance money, I was happily in my 2024 Rav4 Hybrid. I was close to a "No" on the "Would you recommend this dealership". It was saved from a "No" based on Aria, as well as Betty. 1. Working with Betty and Aria was great. Betty was fully informative and pa dealership". It was saved from a "No" based on Aria, as well as Betty. 1. Working with Betty and Aria was great. Betty was fully informative and patient with my sorting out my decision on purchasing warranty or rust proofing. Aria was great in working towards my needs and providing perspectives on the cars on lot and process or ordering new ones. Had I worked with Aria from the start, I believe I would have purchased the right car for me. As it was, I did not purchase the car I should have. 2. I originally purchased a Corolla sedan hybrid, then cancelled it (my decision, though incorrect) and ended up purchasing a Corolla hatchback. After the cancellation of the hybrid sale, in conversation with Aria, I gained a new perspective on the purchases. He's very informative, personable and appreciates your particular needs. Unfortunately, the hybrid had been re-sold already. 3. The car I purchased had a number of immediate issues. I felt there wasn't the transparency I would expect with buying from a prominent dealer. i) A large scrape on underside that had not been pointed out ii) Cigarette odor that was not, as promised, dealt with prior to delivery. iii) A cigarette burn on a seat that was not pointed out. iv) When arrangements made to bring car in to deal with cigarette odor there was an internal mix up that required a re-booking, wasting a morning for me. I hope to have that and the burn resolved with the re-booking. More
