Daniel, thank you for the feedback. We do try to avoid cash deals due to exporting and it is true, we make more money for setting up loans for people. We only charge at MSRP but we do encourage the extras, particularly on units that are in short supply. We are open to negotiating but in this case we have a vehicle that could be months before we can actually sell it due to the recall. For that reason we prefer to leave the tough negotiating part when we have all the facts and possibly a better deal from the manufacture. - Troy Sorge, General Manager

Okay. If you can explain what kind of extras worth $12,000 I can get on a 2022 Chevy Bolt, at least it would make sense. It's one thing to try to upsell and another to ask for 30% over MSRP. It's a free market, all I'm saying is that other dealerships respectfully accepted that I do not want extras and sold me a car on the same day. What tough negotiating part? You said you sell at MSRP.

Being as you were non committal to the car (you went as far as putting an order elsewhere with a deposit, but did not give us one), we generated a ton of action on it and received offers as high as 20k over MSRP which we turned down in favour of selling to you as a commitment from our salesperson. You were also given a choice to not pay the extra. The market changed so fast on these cars that you agreed paying an extra $1000 to make yourself an extra $20,000 would be fair. We have also since offered a premium over and above what you paid to show you that you in fact did get a deal and we will stand behind that. It was a pleasure doing business with you. We considered charging you 10k over MSRP, but thought the easy answer was to finance with us and let us get a kick back from the bank then you pay it out. I offered you three different options. 1) Let us sell it to someone else for more. 2) Finance with us. 3) Pay $1000 as a small premium for what could have been a lot more. We are now offering you 10k to buy it back! Please consider letting us get it back, we will be in touch.

Thanks for the response Troy I love the car its awesome and have no intensions of selling it at any time. Amvic and GM will i guess decide whether the use of my name to allocate the car, and the $1000 upcharge charge was appropriate. As for making it up on the next one i don't think that is ever going to happen. You should think about making it up on the first one.

I have no intentions of selling the car. I love my car. My issue is with Don Wheaton, and the way it i was treated and handled. I have already filed a complaint with GM and i am also going to file with AMVIC, also adding I have been in contact with a local new channel and waiting to hear back from them. On settling this matter if your only option is buying back my car please don't contact me anymore. This will go through 3rd party channels. Best Regards Gerry
