I purchased a used 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali from this dealership about a 6 weeks ago with roughly 61,000 km on it. Before purchasing, the sales representative showed me the inspection report and ass this dealership about a 6 weeks ago with roughly 61,000 km on it. Before purchasing, the sales representative showed me the inspection report and assured me the truck had passed everything and was in great condition. About four weeks later the truck went into limp mode and the check engine light came on. When I brought it back to the dealership, I was told that a part for the truck had actually already been ordered before it was sold to me. This was never disclosed during the purchase process. Since then the truck has been back to the dealership twice for the same fuel pump related repair. The most recent visit they kept the truck for 9 days. When I picked it up and drove it home, the check engine light came back on again. I’m extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled. I purchased this truck expecting a reliable vehicle, especially after being shown an inspection report stating everything passed. Instead I’ve had repeated mechanical issues within the first 6 weeks and no meaningful solution offered by the dealership other than bringing it back again or trading it in at a lower value with no discount offered. I hope the dealership will step up and work toward a fair resolution. At the moment this experience has been very frustrating and far from what I expected when buying from a dealership. Do yourself a favor and get any used vehicle you purchase from these guys inspected by your own mechanic. The truck also needed new batteries, new air filter, new cabin filter, and the oil was changed 18,000km ago so needed that as well. The 150 point inspection they claim to do is most likely just penciled off to show they did it without the mechanic actually checking things properly. More

They called me to get $100 of service, and $25 off oil change. They sent me a $226 quote to replace a Tom's on tire, and oil change. I agreed, when I picked up Truck, the Tom's was not replaced and they change. They sent me a $226 quote to replace a Tom's on tire, and oil change. I agreed, when I picked up Truck, the Tom's was not replaced and they wanted $350! I complained and brought truck back for free service of Tom's in tires. They said quote was for gas engine oil change, not diesel which I have, and they should know with my Vin which was on the quote they sent me! Honestly this leaves me not wanting to return to Chev dealer, and shame as I have exclusively driven GMC trucks for 45 years so far.. Gord Fisher. More

A shout out to salesman Mike Hildebrand and general manager Chris Nicol for the lies and deceit for new truck rear window decals that were supposed to be ordered at time of purchase, and 2 months later manager Chris Nicol for the lies and deceit for new truck rear window decals that were supposed to be ordered at time of purchase, and 2 months later I was told that Chris was just putting the order in. In between the 2 months I was told many lies from the decals were ordered to the shop making a mistake on the decals and Chris wasn’t happy the way they turned out so he sent them back and me going to the shop myself 2 months from purchase and asking if they new anything of a truck decal order.I was told there wasn’t an order ever placed. The shop phoned the dealership and as that happened, I received a text message from Mike saying that Chris just ordered the decals. What a croc of s***!! I have purchased 7 new trucks in 15 years from Harris Oceanside GMC and to be treated like this from these 2 BOZO the CLOWNS!! I will get my truck serviced @ Nanaimo GMC or Port Alberni Chev from now on. Since New Management that took place early 2024 as I was told by Mike,I feel that this dealership has been such a let down.If I could give a zero star review that is what it would be.See you later Oceanside,much later.👎👎 More

They solved my issue and they are working to improve things. Hi, I was there earlier in the year to buy a new vehicle and was left disappointed. Now I have a new vehicle they don't seem to want to talk to you if you didnt buy your vehicle from them. I left a message and 3 Business days later and a second voice mail on the 2nd business day 3rd day still now call back. I talked to their internet chat person and they wanted all the info again. I went in on another day in person and waited for over 5 minutes then was asked to wait for 5 minutes until they finished something up on the computer. Over all Zero service or want to deal with customers. You want me to rate people how can I when they dont want to talk to you. More
