I bought a used Escape and it was a great experience. Rod was low-key but amazingly helpful and professional. Had to give 1 star because I couldn't post at 0 stars. ...I tried to contact them multiple times regarding a warranty fix to my car and not once did I receive a call back with answers to my questions. They ...I tried to contact them multiple times regarding a warranty fix to my car and not once did I receive a call back with answers to my questions. They would not book me in for diagnosis of the problem after I explained the situation. Each time I called, they took down the same information and said they would call back and never did. They also said that if I were to take my vehicle to them, that I would need to pay restocking fees for parts that should be included in the warranty work. Overall, really disappointed that I now have to drive to another city to get the required work completed on my car. Will never go to them or recommend them due to the lack of customer service and how they think that they can just push you off for warranty work while you are driving a vehicle that is now considered 'dangerous and not roadworthy' until the fix is completed. More

Easily the worst experience I’ve had anywhere in my life. I bought a 2020 Escape in July. It starts off with me trading in my 2016 fiesta for $5000, they told me that’s all it was worth because it needed new I bought a 2020 Escape in July. It starts off with me trading in my 2016 fiesta for $5000, they told me that’s all it was worth because it needed new tires and brakes. The fiesta was in great shape with only 44,000km on it. They then listed it for $14,000 🙃 I traded up to an Escape as I am currently now 7 months pregnant and we needed a larger vehicle to accommodate our growing family. After seeing signs posted all over the entire lot saying 0% financing I was told I was unable to receive it because the vehicle was already slightly discounted- which I’m not sure if that is true or not. 5 days after driving my escape off the lot I was driving on the highway and tried to pass a vehicle when “low oil pressure” warning popped up and cut all acceleration and kicked me in to low power mode. At that point I had to brake and pull back into my lane to narrowly avoid getting hit by oncoming traffic. After I had pulled over and turned the vehicle off and back on the warning was gone. We got home safe and I brought the vehicle in for repairs to city ford that week. They were unable to offer me shuttle service as the south side of Edmonton was “too far”. I was also not offered a loaner vehicle despite me only having the vehicle for about a week. They called that afternoon asking to keep the vehicle overnight and I had to call the sales associate and ask to be given a loaner while the repairs were completed. They replaced the oil pressure sensor which makes me believe they did not even test drive the vehicle a) beforehand to figure out the issue and b) afterwards to make sure it was safe to drive. I picked up the vehicle as they called and said it was fixed - on the drive home I had the exact same issue. I called the dealership several times trying to speak to a manager, sent the guy who sold me the car several texts all of which were ignored. When I finally spoke to a manager they didn’t give two xxxxs that I had been sold a faulty vehicle and told me to take it up with the manufacturer. I had then decided to switch dealerships for the repair of my vehicle as city ford had no interest in helping me. My vehicle has been deemed unsafe to drive which I feel was extremely negligent on city fords behalf to give me back a vehicle in that state. It has been at another lot for 17 days as the parts they *think* they need to fix it are only from the US and out of stock. So now I am 7 months pregnant - without my vehicle or any kind of ETA on when it will be fixed. I will be reporting this to AMVIC and CAMVAP next week and could not be more unimpressed with city ford. DO NOT BUY FROM CITY FORD. More

I told them before I left I would need to be picked up at 3:15 but no one showed up. When I called the service department I believe Shane was his name hung up on me the first time saying they have a new phone system then put me on hold for twenty minutes the second. I asked him to send a ride so I could pickup my vehicle and he said my vehicle would not be done today and they don’t give rides to the south side. I told him I was stranded and required a loaner or a ride he more or less said I was out of luck. I will not ever recommend City Ford to anyone, they don’t care about wArranty customers because they make no money. Terrible service!!!!! Worst I ever experienced!! More
