Rick Burke is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He answered my questions and offered information that I needed. The buying process is just ok, but Rick made it easier. We agreed on the terms of the sale and would take delivery the next day. Rick told us what we needed to do, and he explained what Southern Team would do to prep the car. Rick said to come in at 9:30 the next morning as there was a meeting in the morning and the right people would not be available. I received a text message that evening to come at 9:00 (not from Rick). When we arrived at 9:00 the next morning and Rick said we were early. I told him about the text message, and he just shook his head. He said that all the people we needed would be in this morning so it may take awhile. We had to do some preliminary work, so that would take some time. The identity verification process is absolutely ridiculous. Fortunately, Rick guided us through it and made it less painful. We wanted to get the car delivered at this point, but we had to wait for the paperwork to be prepared by the finance person. We waited for more than an hour and we finally flagged down the finance person and he had us sign all the necessary documents and to take payment. By this time, my wife was tired and impatient and left the dealership. The finance guy took my check and said he would be right back. I waited 15 minutes and then went to the rest room. When I got back from the rest room, the finance guy finally finished the paperwork. Rick then delivered the car with a really good and thorough briefing on operation and feature instruction. I was grateful for this. The buying experience with Rick was great. The delivery process is way too complicated and takes too much time. We arrived at 9:00, my wife left at 11:00 and I finally left with the new car at 11:45. I feel like we were run through a wringer. I wanted to meet with the service manager to ask him/her a bunch of questions, but I was so irritated by then, I just wanted to leave. More
