Ive never bought a car for myself, so when I found myself looking for a used car, I didnt know how to start. I arranged a test drive of a 2018 Toyota RAV4 hybrid with very low kilometers in my price range and didnt know what to expect from the experience. Sunny met me on time when I got to the dealership. He started in the showroom, by showing me and explaining the detailing process that they do on all cars. The cars in the showroom all looked brand new. He showed me "before" photos of one of the vehicles in the showroom, and said "The reason we can sell great cars is because we dont buy bad cars". He then took me into his office and gave me a brief rundown on what makes their dealership different from all others, including showing me the awards they've won and Google results showing them as the Best Dealer In Canada. He stressed honesty and integrity. He made me feel that I was in the right place. He brought me to the car and said for me to go ahead and take a test drive. I insisted that he go with me, because I didn't know the area. He made the test drive fun ("Let's put on some tunes!" And I wasn't expecting that! When we returned to the dealership, he explained the turnaround time on a purchase from them. I was disappointed but still felt like a purchase with Most Wanted Cars would be worth the wait. As we went back inside to discuss numbers, I told him that I was off work until I secured another vehicle. He asked me what I do for work and I told him that Im a PSW. He immediately called his dad Raj in. He explained to Raj that I was a PSW who couldnt work until I secured a new vehicle, and asked if there was any way to speed up the turnaround time. Raj immediately responded with "Of course! You take care of people in our community! We will do our best!" When we started talking about down payment, and monthly payments, I explained my complex financial position, and he was more than happy to work with all the people involved. He spent a long time with me taking the time to explain different warranties and limitations. And then he proceeded to reach out for special concessions. He was able to extend my loan term and add warranties above what my vehicle age would normally allow. I kept feeling like there must be a catch, but every contact with Sunny felt honest and caring. They were able to cut the wait time in half, from two weeks down to one. Sunny asked me to come in and sign the paperwork on a Wednesday, telling me the vehicle wouldnt be ready til Friday. When I got there and sat with Sunny, he grinned and said "Do you want the good news or the great news?" And then he told me that the car was ready for me to take that very day! He said it had been his plan all along, to beat the timeframe he had originally told me. I was shocked! He led me to the vehicle and videotaped my reaction as I looked over the RAV4. It looked (and smelled) brand new! Inside and out, everything shone! They had put a big red bow on the hood, and I felt like I had won the lottery!! I left that day in my new 2018 RAV4 hybrid with absolute confidence that I had been guided to make the right choice, both the vehicle and the dealership itself. I have already told everyone I know that, if they need a good used vehicle, Most Wanted Cars and the family running it should be their first stop! More
