Tried to sell us a vehicle that was not just as is but uncertifiable and extremely dangerous to even be driven. Drove the vehicle to my mechanic and he was livid that it was being driven at all. Put the safety of this employees, the customers and the general public at risk. When we told him about the condition of the vehicle he got aggressive and upset then blamed the sales person and said “you were talking to the wrong guy”. He also said the car was fine when the entirety of the fuel tank was behind held up by a rusted chain wrapped around and held together with a rusting carabiner from dollarama. Crazy to think that someone would willingly put others lives at risk so effortlessly and recklessly. Truly disturbing experience and would not trust any car that he sells or sale that he manages. When I think of shady used car salesmen his is now the face that pops up in mind. Buyer beware if you are planning to do business with a used vehicle from Whitby Toyota, please do yourself a favour and get it inspected privately for your own good. More

Well, when I tell u I went to most of the dealerships in Durham, I mean it! ..and not ONE made me feel comfortable or made me feel like I wasn’t getting majorly ripped off, EXCEPT Whitby Toyota.
