Took the Pilot in for a regular service. Was completed promptly and I was notified and on my way. Ladies at the service counter were helpful and pleasant as always. Thanks again. Disappointed in aggressive upselling and unnecessary service recommendations I brought my 2021 Honda Civic (84k km) to Alberta Honda for Maintenance Minder 3 (Transmission) and a brake flush. While t service recommendations I brought my 2021 Honda Civic (84k km) to Alberta Honda for Maintenance Minder 3 (Transmission) and a brake flush. While the actual work performed was fine, I am extremely disappointed in the service department's attempts to push over $1,300 in unnecessary work. They tried to sell me a "Major Emission Flush" ($315) and a "Coolant Flush" ($300)—neither of which is in the Honda maintenance schedule for this mileage. Most concerning is that they are now pushing for a $700 "tune-up" (Spark Plugs), despite the Honda manual clearly stating spark plugs are not due until 160,000 km. I feel like they were trying to take advantage of me by suggesting services the car simply does not need yet. If you come here, do your research first and stick strictly to the Honda Maintenance Minder codes, or you will end up paying for things your car doesn't need. I won't be returning for future service.
