Great Place, Great People , Great Service! About a week ago I stopped into HMP in Exeter thinking I would like to trade my Sierra Crew Cab in on a Terrain Denali. After living in Parkhill area About a week ago I stopped into HMP in Exeter thinking I would like to trade my Sierra Crew Cab in on a Terrain Denali. After living in Parkhill area for 20 yrs I moved back to London 2 yrs ago and decided I would like something smaller to drive. My husband and I dealt with Craig Davidson for so many years and he is no longer there. I was a little worried about starting with a different salesman. Would he measure up to Craig's standards and the friendship we had with him? Anne Sullivan to the rescue! She got Jeff Beauchamp to look after me. In no time I felt like we were old friends. He is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, very accommodating and not pushy! I drove the Terrain a couple of different times but just wasn't sure so he let me test drive some other vehicles. He wanted me to be comfortable and sure with what I purchased. Well it was not the Terrain! I ended up with a red 2019 Canyon All Terrain. When I went to pick it up yesterday it was sitting there with all the extras on and it was all shiny and ready to go. Jeff went over everything with me, got the On Star all set up, asked if I had any questions and said to be sure to call if I had questions later. Smiling from ear to ear I was off with my shiny red 2019 Canyon and my mint smoothies! I was very pleased dealing with Jeff Beauchamp. Tim Hamather was extremely good to me. I spent a short time with Matt Ehgoetz who is another of HMP staff that is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Of course a visit to HMP is not complete without a stop at the reception desk to have a chat with Anne Sullivan! If you are having a bad day it's almost a sure bet she'll put some sunshine into it! I live just around the corner from the Finch Dealership in London but I will still go to HMP in Exeter for service. The staff in the Service Department are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. My husband passed away 7 years ago and the first time I took his truck in for service I got very emotional and had no control over my tears and was so embarrassed talking to Ryan Freiter. He was so understanding. Right away he got someone to take me home and someone came and picked me up when my truck was ready. Ryan was very compassionate and I'll never forget what he did for me that day. The Staff at HMP makes the distance worth the trip. Sometimes you don't always go in with a smile but the smiles at HMP in Exeter are contagious and I usually leave with a smile. Looking for a great GM dealership? The reason I went with HMP was the entire team especially the service department. I was already sold on the customer service, having our vehicles maintained at this dealership for the past three decades. I dealt with Dan Brannon by email, phone and in person; his email correspondence was always prompt and courteous. Full of helpful information without the slightest hint of pressure. When I met Dan in person; he did not disappoint. He was just as friendly and helpful as he was in his emails. I was totally comfortable with everything. He made the process very easy, explaining many alternatives. Dan totally shows "customer appreciation". I must also say a few words about Matt Ehgoetz from finance/sales. I came expecting and prepared for the extras sales pitch. I was pleased to find that he thoroughly explained my options and left me to make my own decisions. Thank you HMP. This was not my first dealing with HMP I know it won't be the last time.
