Hello my name is Luis, I'd like to tell you a little history of myself. I was born and raised in the city of Waukegan Illinois. I started working at the age of 15 with my father, who owned a landscaping company. At the age of 18 i started working for an aftermarket parts store, in which i worked for 17 years. I was able to start off as parts driver and moved myself to managing the parts store for the last 14 years I was there. I was trained and driven in customer service since I was in an affluent north shore area. I then started working at a dealership as a parts counter man. It wasn't my calling to just take orders and price items out. I had the need to help the customer. I asked for the chance to be an adviser in October of 2013. I moved to Ray Chevrolet in August of 2015. I can truly say that I have not worked any where, that is more driven in customer service as Ray Chevrolet is. Sales department is top notch but the Service department lacks communication and accountability. I've never had a smooth experience at Ray Chevrolet since buying my vehicle. From them denting my quarter pan lacks communication and accountability. I've never had a smooth experience at Ray Chevrolet since buying my vehicle. From them denting my quarter panel while my car was in their shop (they did fix the dent) to them not respecting the customer's time and sticking to a schedule. This past occasion I scheduled out my service two weeks in advance and was told by Liz Frohling that they would have a loaner car ready for me and I would be in/out within 10-15 min. Well, I was stuck waiting for that loaner which in fact wasn't ready for 1 hour 40 min. I worked with TJ Burke who is emotionless and when I voiced my displeasure about the wait after being there over an hour, TJ stated to me "Don't blame me because a 3rd party company (hertz) is taking their time to get here with your rental." Excuse me, What? Then what is the point of scheduling two weeks out? The service departments solution was to kick me out the service center and have me wait outside for Hertz. No apology, no empathy and completely unprofessional. If you don't like your job or dealing with frustrated customers then find a new career. I generally believe that most people there have good intentions but it seems to me that the dealership is too small for the amount of service they bring in. Try calling and speaking to service manager and I guarantee you'll hear "She's really busy right now, can you leave a message?" Then they won't call back for days. Thanks to Ray I missed a very important work meeting which is why I scheduled the service two weeks out to be sure I'd be home in time. Be better! More

Service was fast and amazing very friendly attendents but they offered to run my car through the car wash, and that’s pretty much what hey did was run through. I was very impressed with Ray after several awful experiences with my former Chevy service department. Not only did Ray Chevy resolve the issue I came in to get repaired, but they fixed an old issue experiences with my former Chevy service department. Not only did Ray Chevy resolve the issue I came in to get repaired, but they fixed an old issue that my former service shop could not diagnose. They saved me a lot of money, and the staff are super nice! I'm sticking with Ray from now on! More
