Went into the dealership to test drive a vehicle they had listed online for $11k with intent to purchase the vehicle with cash. After conducting the test drive the salesperson brought out paperwork that said listed online for $11k with intent to purchase the vehicle with cash. After conducting the test drive the salesperson brought out paperwork that said the vehicle would instead be $14,900. When asked what happened to the $11k I was informed that was the "finance price" and the best cash price they could manage was $13,500. this was not communicated in the initial online ad at all, though I was reassured that "Every dealership in Alberta does this." I walked out the door and when I walked into a different dealership to buy a car they looked at me like I'd grown a second head when I asked them if they have the same practice. Will not be considering this dealership for future car purchases and will not be recommending this dealership to anyone. Salespeople were nice, but business practice was incredibly shady. More
