I am a first time car buyer and owner. I got a GMC 2022 Terrain SLE from this dealership SHERWOOD PARK CHEVROLET. I was not able to see the car personally and do a test drive on this since I got a GMC 2022 Terrain SLE from this dealership SHERWOOD PARK CHEVROLET. I was not able to see the car personally and do a test drive on this since I am living 380km away. I found their advertisement online. I only have my trust with the sales person who assisted me. I even asked him what is my guarantee that this car is in good condition. He only said that if anything happens the bumper to bumper warranty will cover this. Which is not a very satisfying answer but I have my faith that there will be no issues. However, when I received the car there are dents, scratches and windsheild chip that was not even disclosed to me and this is an accident free car as per their advertisement claiming. I understand that it is a preowned car but I believe I should have been informed about the physical condition of the car and this should have been fixed prior delivery. The car doesn't look like it was detailed as well. I even sent the photo and videos of the car. I also asked to waive the delivery fee not just because we had a miscommunication that the delivery is for free (they did not even disclose to me the amount of delivery fee so I assumed that it was free) but considering how they did not disclosed to me everything. First, they did not explain to me about the delivery method of the car. They did not inform me that someone will be driving the car going here to my place. I thought it will be delivered using a truck. Since that's not the case it added to my mileage which I was not informed or even asked if I am okay with that. If only I've known that this will happen I would have pick up the car myself. Then, when they deliver the car the delivery person did not show me how the car operates or explain things about the car and did not have the initiative to do a car tour just to make sure that everything is fine. As a first time car owner and buyer I don't have an idea what are the things I should have done when receiving a car. I received a call from their sales manager named VINCE. Instead of being apologetic to what happened and explain in a nice way why they can't refund the delivery fee, he insulted and made me look like I just want free money from them. He keeps on mentioning they have recordings and I asked for recordings as well to know my mistake during the transaction but he said "no that recording is only for them". He wouldn't let me even talk knowing that I am already frustrated with what's going on. Then General Sales Manager called me named Darren offered to it's either to send me pen touch up for the scratches but how about the dents? (and doing it myself is very unfair) or I have to drive to Edmonton (which is very inconvenient) just to get those chips, scratches and dents get fix where it is not my fault. I was even offered $200 credit for the delivery fee which I don't think is right after what happened. When I had the car washed since it was delivered to me I found out that the back door is already rusting (VERY RIDICULOUS). It was not noticeable when I first got it because of the weather and dirt. This car is almost brandnew and expensive but its RUSTING! I went to 2 autobody shops in Calgary and they said that the back door has been damaged and repaired before since it's not the factory paint anymore and it was not propely fixed which caused that rust. I am so out of words! I am so mad because of their FALSE CLAIM. I didn't want to accept their offer to trade in (because they will not give me the same value of my initial purchase and will lose they money that I already paid), I just want to return it because I don't know what more issues I will discover in the long run and I don't trust them anymore after everything that happened. They don't want me to return the car as they said there is no law in Alberta that a car can be returned. I filed a complaint to AMVIC but they don't care because they know that AMVIC will take long to action and might not even side with consumer More

Being an older woman and having vehicle issues with it starting, extreme cold weather, and needing a reliable car for family reasons. Darren Bannink was helpful with trying some things, but when that did starting, extreme cold weather, and needing a reliable car for family reasons. Darren Bannink was helpful with trying some things, but when that didn’t work helped make a Service appointment. With the Dealership being extremely busy my appointment wasn’t for about 3 days. A Loaner vehicle was provided. Aaron? I think was his name, was very helpful in getting it set up. Ryan in Service department was helpful also More

By far the WORST customer service experience I've EVER had! Sales manager, Darren Bannink has been extremely unhelpful, argumentative, and unresponsive in trying to help me. I bought my truck last May, an had! Sales manager, Darren Bannink has been extremely unhelpful, argumentative, and unresponsive in trying to help me. I bought my truck last May, and as an incentive to "buy the truck today", I asked that a set of winter tires be included. After a couple of phone calls, they eventually agreed. When I went to put the winter tires on in November, I found out that they were not appropriate for my vehicle. They were regular p-series tires meant for a half tonne truck, as opposed to LT tires required for the safety, load capacity, and correct tire pressure for my 3/4 tonne truck. I contacted the salesperson I had purchased from, as he was my only contact, and he agreed that they were inappropriate for the vehicle and that he would pass it on to his manager to be resolved. After weeks of me emailing asking what was happening to fix this, with non committal responses, the response emails stopped. About a month and a half later in February, I received a phone call from Darren the sales manager. After having to re-explain the situation to him, he said he would show the pictures I sent in November to his mechanic and see what they say. He phoned me back and told me these are "absolutely the right tires for your truck" and "I dont know what else to tell you". Being at work at the time, I told him I'd look at the pictures again and call him back. Called him back 5 minutes later after I realized he showed the wrong picture, showing only the pic of the correct all season tires I sent for comparison. I left him a voicemail stating this and to call me back asap. Never heard back. About a month later I tried calling again, 3 times leaving voicemails with him again. Eventually he called me back and said "I'm not sure what I can do for you here". I told him I'd resend him pics of the incorrect tires and he can figure out what to do from there. I did so, heard back from him once 2 days later (after multiple emails asking for an update), and he asked for more pictures. I did so again, and sent every angle of the tires as well as the low air pressure indicator for all tires inside the truck, and have yet to hear anything again for the last 4 days. So nothing has been resolved for me in the 4 months since I first reached out, and I've been told I'm wrong multiple times despite the evendence I've shown them, and now the contact has stopped completely. I'm completely fed up with this lack of service, for something that should have been recognized by the professionals in the first place. More

This is just a typical shady car dealership much like they portray in the movies. This used to be a good dealership, but now with new cooperate owners they are just greedy and don't give a darn about cus they portray in the movies.
