I think the service fees for maintenance are to high, they nickel and dime u for every little thing! I had to pay $175 for a hardware update so my Jeep would run better because of issues they discovered More

jeffkleinpaste, We would like to take a moment to apologize for any miscommunications on our end sincerely.. To clarify as we feel it is important to make sure our customers feel heard and valued we would like to take this opportunity briefly touch on all 3 of your concerns. 1) The difference between cabin and engine air filters: The Cabin Air Filter filters the air inside of your car. It's there to make the air you breathe cleaner. The Engine Air Filter keeps the air going to your engine cleaner. It is the job of our service team to recommend items that are deemed "unfit" as they work through their standard 15 point inspection. 2)We do charge a standard shop rate as many dealerships do.. Not many places go above and beyond without specification (for liability reasons), if there is more we could have done for you while we had your vehicle such as fix the "loud squeek" we wish that was communicated to us prior to your visit to our service pickup, we do apologize for not taking matters into our own hands and solving this issue for you. To make things financially more sufficient for you our service team did discount your invoice by %10 giving your almost $300 in discounts towards your visit with us. 3) With the time given for work to be completed and with the available staff we truly strive to be as accommodating as we can. As mentioned prior to your detail request we had noted a limited number of staff available at this time, resulting in an incomplete detail. We are more then happy and willing to book you in for a proper interior/exterior detail when we have the number of staff to complete said job. It is a priority for us to take pride in the work that we do, if we are unable to commit to the job of any standard in full within the time frame given it simply will not be preformed. We would rather do things right the first time to achieve maximum results rather then commit to things we cant complete in full. I do appreciate you reaching out and trying to rectify these issues. In response 1) The cabin air was dirty and needed to be replaced. This is why you do not see me addressing this. The engine filter looks just shy of brand new. Pics can be sent if needed. This is the filter I have issues with. I even stressed to the service gentleman that it was just replaced less than 3000km ago. "Oh it's very dirty and we recommend replacing" he must not have had a chance to look at it as he would not put his name behind that statement. Just to make sure I was not mistaken I brought the filter to my local Dodge dealer and they have rated it at 90% (in writing) 2) As far as charging shop rate to put one spray of lube on a door hinge on a truck still under warranty is almost laughable. Is this truly how you view customer service?? 3) When the detail was booked there was no mention of short staff as you have indicated. As I mentioned before I can understand in these times people taking the extra precautions when sick. I would just hope that you could have found another employee to help or even help me find an alternative way to get it done. But as it seems in this whole transaction, customer service with Leduc Chrysler depends on the size of your wallet. Jeff Kleinpaste 780-380-1499
