I purchased a 2012 Ram fro My god, doesn't that sound like the title of a movie? Wanted to get in touch about my great experience at Halifax Chrysler. I purchased a 2012 Ram from you folks a few years back and recently thought it time to downsize, to address the matter of not driving a full size rig. So, I went to your dealership in hopes of running into a salesperson with the right approach. I found exactly such a fellow - Chris Sooley. Chris is great, perfect mix of information and salesmanship, I did not feel pressured or uncomfortable, I felt I was in good hands. Chris was patient and interested throughout our prolonged sit down on the matter. From start to finish, Chris was A+ in my books. What else would you expect from a good Newfoundland lad? Cannot say enough good about Chris, please thank him on my behalf and, when it comes time to trade in my new Jeep, I will be returning directly to Chris' desk. If that weren't enough, then I met Bill MacIntyre, a good ol' boy from Dominion. Bill and I speak the same language, Cape Bretonese, so our dealings were a pleasure throughout. Bill was informative, timely, to-the-point, and took immediate care of any concerns raised. Again, what would you expect from a good ol' boy from Dominion? Fine folks come from Dominion, fine folks. Bill, too, gets an A+ in my book. So, I only have great things to say. I'm already a repeat customer at your dealership and fully intend to keep my repeat business a priority at Halifax Chrysler. I immediately returned to Halifax Chrysler as I knew they were so great to me in January and am so happy with my new 200 LX (Her name is Carla 2.0). The team of Jake, Peter and Bill once again were awesome. This was the same team I dealt with in January. The stress of the accident was minimized with the professional services I received at Halifax Chrysler. They are an awesome team!!!! Totally happy!!! More

I was Blindsided...then they made amends PLEASE REVIEW END Very nice gentleman Rick but he either was uninformed about the facts or purposely kept me in dark (unacceptable in both situations)........ Me an my Very nice gentleman Rick but he either was uninformed about the facts or purposely kept me in dark (unacceptable in both situations)........ Me an my wife came in to see a car which we took out for test drive and didn't like......I had told Rick that our budget was 15k max...... he suggested a different vehicle a 2012 Dodge Journey.....we test drove it and liked it instantaneously....... and we made it clear that we are ready to buy this car. I asked him if the car has a clean record and he said YES. I also asked him OTR (On the road) Price and he said 15500....i countered that with 14500 and we had a deal. I paid 500 as an initial payment and was told to bring 14000 cheque. When i went home and had a look on the website car was priced @ 11980 and even with all the charges(tax and everything) it fell around 2000 CAD less then 15500 price which he had quoted me. I emailed him back with a pic of the car's price and he replied me back saying "oh we have a sale started today and have reduced the price".... which is incorrect as I was never told the new price and was expected to bring 14000 CAD as agreed...also sale event was for new cars and also no sale event starts on 11th of March. The second major issue was the fact that just after we had done all the paperwork and changed plates and everything...ready to go I asked him about the Car proof report and it showed car had two accidents previously.......just when my wife is sitting in the new car and being grateful about it :(. Now I had a good experience with Rick otherwise...... he is very courteous and has a pleasant personality but either he was either unaware of actual price/previous accidents (best case scenario) or purposely kept me in dark (worst case scenario)......but this shouldn't be acceptable either way. I think there should be a clear difference between buying car from a reputable company/dealership and buying it privately. I am disappointed with my experience and would suggest others to NOT trust blindly.....keep your eyes open. More

Personable Service I had scheduled a test drive of a specific vehicle and was met by Chris. He was fantastic and went through everything with me, from the models and options to asking what we needed the vehicle for now and in the future. I had been at a couple of test drives elsewhere where they gave me the keys, showed me the car and sent me on my way. Telling me to come back and see them when I made a choice. Chris sat down and went over numbers right after the test drive. Our only hiccup was with the financing arrangements. We had agreed upon a specific price and term. When we went to sign the papers, we were told the banks won't do that specific term under the conditions we had. That made us feel a little trapped. The sales team and sales manager should have been aware of what terms the banks would agree whilst in negotiations with us. Otherwise, extremely happy with our decision to purchase and to purchase from this dealership. Chris was fantastic, start to finish! More
