Had issues with my tires and TMIS. I was worried I had one flat already and that potentially another tire was going down. Called Lakewood yesterday and was told by reception that they were booking on Monday of next week. I had some questions so they put me through to Alana in the service department. She heard my story and being a senior the worry in my voice and asked if I could come in early today and leave my car so that they could work on it in-between other service calls. I dropped it off early this morning and spoke to Rob in the service department. He listened to my story with professionalism, patience, respect and documented what I'd requested be looked at. I felt so much relief at being heard and reassured by Rob today and Alana yesterday, words can't express my gratitude. Mark the shuttle driver gave me a lift home and we had good conversation and very apparent he's experienced behind the wheel. Imagine my surprise when I received a call from Rob not much over an hour after I'd been dropped off at home. They fixed my flat tire checked my concerns with the other ones and found that what I thought was going to be a big issue and expense turned out to be just a minor issue and lot's of worry that I'd had was for naught. He had Mark come pick me up on his way back from another drop off and I picked up my car and was back home within 2 hours of drop off. And although the technician checked other small things on my tires and sensors to make sure they were okay, which could have easily beefed up my costs, I was only billed for the tire repair. And to Rob, Alana and Mark, I thank you for your help, reassurance, customer service and kindness to an old girl that felt like a million bucks filled with Gratitude as I left your shop. There’s always some sort of issue with service. The service manager is extremely condescending and unhelpful for anything, Always. Mechanics recommend expensive, unnecessary parts and services all the time, don’t diagnose problem after several visits, and refuse to do necessary work, even when specifically requested. Complete lack of customer service. Gave them one last chance & they lied to my face about a very obvious problem & ignored another. Perfect place to go if you enjoy burning $100 bills, several at a time, then go on with your life, with nothing for it. They told me I need and entire power steering system, then no, you don’t. Needed brakes same day they were replaced, ignition coils replaced when it was the BATTERY, need to REMOVE the BUMPER to see openly visible area under it, refusing to acknowledge their other dealership in Sherwood Park documented doing a warranty repair that they did NOT do. And ignore you until the end of day thinking you will just pay and leave. Then the shop manager tells the advisor to change the paperwork after they give it to you, right in front of you!!! None of the service advisors ever call you back when they are “going to check into” something. You have to chase them. Whoever they need to speak to ALWAYS went home early, whether it’s the manager, an advisor, or the tech. ALWAYS. They have NEVER correctly diagnosed, nor fixed, a single thing, with numerous visits, but charge excessively every single time. I did speak to the previous dealership manager. He wasted over an hour of my time, while he chatted with staff, after a scheduled appointment time, then spent the entire conversation on his computer, then did nothing but offer to sell my vehicle for less than 1/3 of its value. I wish I could put zero here for the pathetic service received by Jamie. It’s has been such a chaotic and stressing 10 days. Took the car to Lakewood service on1st august due to few different issues. Sin received by Jamie. It’s has been such a chaotic and stressing 10 days. Took the car to Lakewood service on1st august due to few different issues. Since it was my first time at Lakewood I wish somebody would hv told me to stay away from the service advisor Jamie. I was never explained the costs of repair before starting. Snapped a bill again without explaining how they are going to fix the issues. Every single time I tried reaching out to Jamie ( few time I literally had to visit the store to get hold of her ) I saw her RUNNING away to avoid me. Never spoke to me on the phone or responded to my VMs. Why was I treated this way? Are you hiding away because you can’t explain the costs or fix the problems? Or Is it because I am from a different country or origin? Are you being racist making me feel this way? The very first visit I was charged $1000 without ever informing me. The servicing team with an SLA of 1 day to find out what’s wrong with my camera takes 10 days and still no answer ( even after me paying $570 for the inspection on the 1st day). I understand the parts are on back order but why delay fixing the camera? And why keep hiding and running away from me? I have been a Chevy loyal customer for 7+ yrs and was in the Lakewood Chevrolet showroom on July 29th 2023 (Met Carlos) to buy a new truck. Seeing the service quality received from Jamie , I have started hating owing a Chevrolet , she managed to convert a Chevy fan into this within 10 days. I literally walked across the street to ford to buy the truck. Choosing Lakewood Chevrolet was such a big mistake. Sadly stuck since i made payments initially trusting them. Nothing resolved yet. I will definitely escalate this further very soon. More
