2026 Ford E-Transit Recall
Item Affected: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: PROPULSION SYSTEM: TRACTION BATTERY

Description of Recall:
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2026 E-Transit vehicles. Bolts inside the high-voltage battery pack may be missing washers, which can cause high electrical resistance or electrical arcing.
Action Need To Fix It:
Dealers will inspect and repair the busbar fasteners and replace the busbar if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on February 9, 2026. Owners may contact Ford Customer Service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26S05. Description of Recall:
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022-2025 E-Transit vehicles. The left rear axle half shaft may partially disengage from the power drive unit, which can result in a loss of drive power.
Action Need To Fix It:
The remedy is under development. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed December 26, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated in March 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SD9.
