When my vehicle was just out of warranty, CNissan was kind enough to cover a fairly major repair, all while providing us with a loaner vehicle. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and my vehicle was returned to me fixed and detailed! I will not take my Nissan anywhere else, their service is head and shoulders above anywhere else I've ever gone. Thank you so much for all that you've done for us! A&M Sherlock

I am writing to help other potential customers from being taken advantage of by Cobourg Nissan. I recently took our 2009 Infiniti G37x to the dealership to have them inspect the car for a potential problem coming from the driver side front wheel. Our family has purchased two new cars from them previously. There is history here, and a lot of money has been spent in the service department over the past 20 years. The service department called to say we should come in to talk to them a few hours after we dropped off the Infiniti. They handed us a 4 page estimate for $8,200.00 worth of work. The estimate also stated that this might not be the full list of things needing to be done, and that there was so much rust under the car that they worried things might fall apart if they started working on it. We said no thanks and went to a local Krown rust proofing business where the car had been oil spayed last fall. They put the car on a hoist to look at it, and told me the car looked like it was three years old. There was nothing wrong with it. The next day we went to different Infiniti dealership to look at cars and purchased a new car from them, we traded the old G37 in as part of the new purchase. During our conversation the sales manager at that dealership told us he was looking for a used car like ours for his father in law. I talked to him a few days later and asked him if his father in law had purchased our old car. He smiled and said "Yes, and it was easy for us to certify because there was nothing wrong with it at all". Oops, on the part of Cobourg Nissan. They lied, they mislead us and I will never spend another nickel at that dealership again. You have lost a good customer who will never do business with you again. bad bad bad

I lived in Pointe Claire, Quebec and purchased and serviced my 2014 Nissan Quest at Cornwall Nissan. When I traded it in for my 2017 Nissan Qashqai I went back again to Cornwall Nissan. The service, and honesty at Cornwall Nissan is far above the others. They go of their way to treat you like family and why you always return.

Kim in the service department has excellent customer service skills. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. She is easy to talk to and works hard to make customers feel welcome. I highly recommend this dealership.

If I could have given a rating lower than one, it would have. The service department did not tell me to pay for parts in advance and when I took my car in for the scheduled appointment, they waited a half day to tell me they couldn’t do the work because the parts were not in stock. I told them to only do the one job and not order any parts in for the other and I would find someone else to do that work. They tried to upsell me on unnecessary work and then tried to charge me for the parts they ordered when i specifically said not to do order any. They don’t return calls and lie to cover their incompetence. I would t have let them do anything except the tire had to be replaced in order to drive the car. Worst customer experience ever!

Where to start when I bought the Nissan quest 7 yrs ago, got Oil for life and was told will install DVD by an electrician 1- DVD was installed by bestbuy directly to the battery and drained it everytime the car was not driven for a couple of days, in addition, when I press the hand brakes, the car honks. anyways the car was sent to the dealer many times and was taken to MAS to fix but still drains the battery. 2-I was told a few months ago that the OCFL was given in error. when I bought the car, i got all the packages , extended warranty, rustproofing , etc and during that year, Cotton's Nissan was giving the oil for free was every purchase but the "forgot" to add to my contract. When I went to 1st oil change, told them to please add and they never did 3- THE WORST PART: 7 months ago I take the car for wheel-bearing fix and I notice there was some noise (clunk) from engine. they checked it and told me ENGINE BEARINGS/main shaft bearings after they used stethoscope and this will need an engine. a 76000 km japanese car and NEEDS AN ENGINE. a few months later, I took the car to another mechanic and to my surprise, IT WAS NOT ENGINE BEARINGS - IT WAS AC COMPRESSOR BEARINGS WITHA COST OF 1250$ INSTEAD OF >8000. I still cant believe it. will never go there

I am very disappointed with the dealership. I trusted the dealership with my 2017 rogue but last year when I purchased the Altima it has been one problem after the other. On 4 separate occasions I brought the Altima for oil change, but each time the technicians did not update the service reminder in the car and they also didn’t put updated mileage stickers with the next service due dates. I complained each time hoping things would change but no the situation continued. The most recent experience was on January 24th of this year when i took my car again for service and the same thing happened. I then called to speak with one of the managers Debbie but she wasn’t available when I called. Natalie was the person that answered the phone, when I tried to explain that I wanted to speak with Debbie regarding the issue that I had with the last oil change because there was no updated sticker in the car and that a car service reminder message kept popping up on the dashboard in my car. Natalie cut me right off and said she was also a manager I can explain to her what I wanted to speak with Debbie. This caught me off guard because I wasn’t expecting it and I just said okay. I started telling her what the issue was and she basically trashed what I had said and very rudely told me that mistakes do happen and that I should stop complaining because they hire apprentices who are not experienced, they are the ones who made that mistake. I reminded her that this is the 4th time this is happening and I am concerned. Without any remorse or apology, Natalie then said give me your address and I will send you the sticker in the mail mistakes do happen and she hurriedly dismissed me from the phone. I had chills down my spine as I never expected such a bad reaction from an employee to a customer. I then contacted Dan to complain about the ill-treatment I had received from Natalie but he listened and asked me to bring back the car and he was going to make sure that the issue was resolved. With the 3 previous incidents I had complained to Dan each time as well, so he was well aware of the background and empathized with me. I did not take my car back to the delearship because I know that nothing was going to be done differently since this had been the 4th time the same thing happened. So last week I received a sticker in the mail from the dealership as Natalie had promised. The sticker has the updated next service date of January 24th, 2024. I could not believe my eyes when I saw that, so today I texted Dan and told him about the sticker and I even sent a picture of the sticker. This is very bad customer service, I will not be taking my car back to that dealership again, I will look elsewhere. The rudeness of employees like Natalie chases customers away, it is important to understand that if you are serving customers you don’t bring your personal misery to work and take it on customers. This behavior is unacceptable. In the message I sent to Dan today I told him that the dealership is charging customers regular fees on services for substandard services performed by unqualified and unsupervised apprenticeship students who don’t know yet how the work is done putting unsuspecting customers like me at risk. I have written this review as feedback especially to Natalie and the dealership and also warn other customers of what is happening at the dealership right now with the apprenticeship students messing up customers’ vehicles. I am not trying to discourage anyone from going to Kitchener Nissan, but I am just informing others of my experience with the dealership and who knows it could be your experience as well tomorrow. I am definitely escalating the matter to Nissan Canada to investigate this and stop it before worse things happen to customers after their vehicles are messed up by the students. I have requested to Dan that I would like to speak with the owner of the dealership, I will wait and see if the owner will contact me.

This dealership kept my vehicle for weeks, I did not have use of my vehicle for months because they could not or was unwilling to fix my very Cadillac that was under warranty. Although they kept my vehicle for an extended time, I was told that any courtesy vehicle will be billed to me. The service ambassador that dealt was hard to deal with and she gave excuses and lied constantly. What a shame for such a hugh dealership. I will never go back to this dealership and I am not recommending this dealership
