I was driving my 2002 Isuzu NPR between Calgary and Nova Scotia when a hissing noise started coming from the engine under load around Petawawa ON. Phoned the service department on Friday, October 08, 2016 late in the afternoon and they booked me in for the next morning. One a half hour later I was back on the road. Personable and honest people. Great service!

Parts/Service Thief's/Crooks - Frustated Suzuki Owner

One of the worst experience of my life. I will never buy a Suzuki Car and will never service especially from Suzuki Brampton. Management Staff has no values for Customers and their hard earned money. Rather providing solutions they run away from the problems. Rather than finding problems in my car they asked me to buy parts and after buying parts buy more parts as the problem they thought is not the right one. When I said I am not going to buy any more parts, they said well go and get your car fixed some one else. Very unprofessional and rude staff. I will never recommend the services for this place to any one.

Our family has purchased 7 cars from this dealership in the past 15 years.We have always been very satisfied with their overall operation! They are very honest and have always provided exceptional sales and service. Have also referred them to other family members and friends. I like their straight forward approach to doing business. When repairs are required- all options are explained and there are no surprises. Master technician James is very knowledgable and has always exceeded my expectations. You don't stay a 15 year customer of a business unless you are highly satisfied! They even take the time to wash your car after every service. I arrived at the dealership without an appointment as my Jeep was making a terrible rattling noise. I was immediately met with attitude by the service advisor who told me it would be a week or two before it could be seen as he was frustrated that I had not called first. When I asked if he could recommend another mechanic nearby as I wasn't comfortable driving it further, he refused. After my husband went in twice to check on whether or not he had been able to look at the vehicle, people were calling and getting booked in for next day appointments while my Jeep sat in their lot. I left the Jeep only to get a call a week later saying some bolts have come off the muffler but they refused to fix it and suggested I bring it to Zoro Muffler up the street for the $50 fix. The explanation I received when I asked why they would not just replace the broken screws at the dealership was that they would charge me a lot more as they would replace things that did not need to be replaced. All I can say is that in the 18 years I have been using this dealership to purchase and service my vehicles, I have never received such poor service and will not be returning.

Unless your car is under warranty, they don't want to do anything else. They cant even fix something correctly under warranty because my car is still rattling after they replaced the headliner (under warranty). I complained about a constant sound and they took it for a few test drives. They claimed they didn't hear anything. I made a recording with my phone as Marcel suggested and sent it to them, they still claim they don't hear it and told me to wait because "Sometimes it goes away after a while". It was just a stalling tactic because after 1 year of replacement, their warranty ends. Paul is usually nice but he seemed uninteresed in fixing something he customized on my car that failed (I paid time for him to do). What do you expect when under the "leadership" of crooked John Mierins (Also owner of Bytek VW). Stay clear of there as well. Save your money, Go elsewhere for better service.

Absolutely the poorest service ever. No communication between customer and technicians regarding warranty claims on my 2020 Ranger. Continually waiting for parts. Service writer Mark refused to listen to what I had to say, or to look at diagnosis from another Ford dealer. This cost me 2 extra trips of 120 kms. When some of the work was completed (rear axle seals), there was no clean up on my rims, leaving a huge mess. When I asked about the possibility of brake contamination by the oil leak, I was blatantly lied to by service writer. Once the current work is completed, I will never go back, And I'll be writing Ford Canada about this

Honda, not a summer car! Our AC and the Honda service department needs an overhaul! I purchased a Honda in 2016. The AC broke in 2019. Despite being under warranty and having an extended warranty, the issue was not resolved after multiple visits to the Honda service center. Despite several attempts, Honda team could not identify the issue. When my car finally exceeded 130,000 KM, the warranty period ended. Only then was the problem diagnosed, and I was told it would cost over $2,000 to fix. After numerous phone calls and considerable effort, I managed to get it repaired in early 2022 without paying, yet the AC still did not function properly. The problem was temporarily fixed, only for it to reoccur in the summer. Your team eventually identified a leak, but by then the season had passed, and I was given a one-year warranty. In 2023, the same issue arose. I followed the same drill - appointment, car left at the service center and family booked Uber rides to work. At pick up time, we were assured the AC has been fixed. However, I received a call later that day stating the part needed for the repair was unavailable. This wrong communication was acknowledged by a Honda staff in a very casual way. Eventually, after another appointment, I was told it was fixed. The AC worked slightly till the end of summer but it was too late to be useful. I was again told to bring the car back within a year if the problem persisted. Now, in 2024, I am facing the same issue. After waiting three weeks for an appointment and driving in hot weather, I was informed that another part needed replacement, costing $2,350 plus tax. Finally, after a long discussion and having the case open, I received an email that Honda will be paying for 60% of the service and someone will contact me. No one contacted me yet and I can foresee using the car without AC again this summer. We are under extreme stress as this ongoing issue has impacted my health and that of my daughter. My concerns are as follows: 1. The AC has not worked properly for the past six summers. Why has it not been fixed? 2. No issues were found while the car was under warranty, but several problems were identified immediately after the warranty expired. 3. Why can't your team conduct a thorough inspection and resolve the issue once and for all? 4. I have severe allergies and experienced an anaphylactic reaction last year while driving with the windows down due to smoke from nearby fires. 5. I have repeatedly requested a loaner car during repairs, but have always been denied. Many other companies provide loaner cars for customers. 6. My job is in another city, so I need to leave the car again and again with your service department and rely on others or Uber to get to work. We are forced to buy and use cool fans to fight the extreme hot weather. In our last communication with Honda on June 25th, we were told someone from the dealership would contact us. On June 30th, we sent them another email. It’s been 10 days now and we haven’t heard back from Honda. Despite repeated visits to the service center in Milton over the past years, the air conditioning system in my vehicle remains non-functional, severely impacting my family’s ability to enjoy our summers. I am allergic to dust, and my little daughter too has her own health challenges. We would strongly suggest think twice before buying a Honda. While the car might appear to be a good family car but the after sales services, the customer service and the service department itself need lots of improvement.

I was in love with my Suzuki Kizashi 2011 I bought from them in 2011. I was told it was a company car (demo) and it was in great condition, except for a few scuffs and scratches that they didn't even try to negotiate with me. I gave in, and bought the car anyway. While filing for credit application, I was told by Jamie that he will include the Rust Protection Module and Fabric protection in the credit application but I can take it off if I decide I don't want it. The next day, I called him to say I don't want the protection but he said that it's already been put on, so I can't back out. That added to about 10 dollars to my bi-weekly payment. I asked if he can do something for me because I don't want to spend that much. He said he'll throw in a tire protection package for free to compensate. After a year, I emailed him if I had rust protection installed and he says I only have the tire protection package. On the deed of sale, it says I paid over 795 dollars for the rust module! Ridiculous! I arranged for a meeting, never got back to me. I started having issues with my car's engine. I contact their service dept. They took a look at my car. They said it was perfectly normal. I went to another shop, they said I have problems with my engine idle and that I have to have the throttle body cleaned. So I spent a couple hundred dollars for that. The next time, problem still persisted so I went back. They took my car in for 3 weeks and they charged me 400+ dollars for things that are supposed to be under warranty. They claim that cleaning and tune-ups were required for my car to be properly tested and that I have to pay for those tests!!!! They said they have fixed the car, but if the problem persisted, it could be the engine mounts. After a week, I took the car in to a different shop to check the engine mounts since I can feel the engine vibrations. The guy at the shop told me there's something wrong with the engine and that the mounts are perfect. I called 417 Automotive, left a message but never received a reply back. Right there, I decided, I will trade in the car. and I did. These people are good on the outside but evil on the inside. They look at customers like laughing matters. I remember I went in for an oil change once, ended up in the showroom instead of the waiting lounge. I was sitting there but no one realized I was there since I was covered by the cars. The staff: (the receptionist, the sales manager, etc) were laughing at the customers who were calling and they were swearing at those people that ask too many questions once they put the phone down. This happened for a good 30 minutes, until they realized I was there. If I were you, go to a reputable dealership to buy your used cars. And find a local mechanic with a shop that's family-owned to have your cars checked and fixed with. These people at 417 Automotive will rip you off and will even talk about you behind your back. Their customer service is unbearable.. enough to have someone like me who is absolutely in love with a car from them but chose to trade the car in just to sever my ties with this dealership.

Winter tire install. Took advantage of storage as well. Minutes after there was a call stating I required a brake service and transfer case fluid change. These were all completed less than 3 months ago ... by same dealership. Also stating they had damaged/broken one of the lugs. another 40 bucks. I appreciate normal wear and tear yet only persons who have installed or removed lug nuts is Thor motors. This was 3rd attempt for upsell in last three service visits. Spring install (since tires are there) will be very last visit to this dealership.

Car was ready next morning and runs like a champ. Very pleased with the service and repairs I have had done by TAS to my BMW and Grand Caravan a/c.
