Treated like a second class citizen. - Disappointed

First and Foremost, The sales department has always been extremely friendly, flexible, kind and helpful. The purchase of my vehicles here has always been a great experience. Whereas, my experiences with the Service Department has been an entirely different. Rude and condescending. They treat you like a second class citizen, like you are an inconvenience. 1. Told me to “take a bus” when I brought my car in for recall and warranty work and had no transportation, I should note I live 45 min away from my dealership and a bus was not an option for me. I ended up renting a UHaul van as a last resort as all other rental car locations in my city were closed for the evening. After doing some digging, I found out that I infact DO have rental coverage for this type of service visit with my 5 star extended warranty. This experience left me stranded in their parking lot scrambling to find transportation. I was very offended by their cold treatment. 2. Called to make an appointment to get my car looked at as it was acting up and I was getting close to the end of my warranty mileage — was told that they “don’t really have the time to look at my car unless it’s an emergency as they had a lot of cars in getting tires changes due to the the change of season, and that they would NOT give it a onceover to check to see if any other warranty covered work was needed other than the issue I reported” I should note: I am not a mechanic and would really have no idea if other parts of my car were acting up unless it was glaringly obvious. I was trying to be proactive. Due to their poor attitude I decided to drive my car 2 hours to the next nearest VW for the service needed rather than deal with North Bay VW. Note: The service department I ended up dealing with out of town were kind and helpful, no questions asked. 3. Towed my car in due to mechanical breakdown. Ended up becoming very sick the next day and was taken to hospital. I spoke to the service department while waiting for the doctor and found out the issue and gave the go ahead to do the work. The next day (Friday) heard nothing from them. I was still very ill and had a friend call in end of day (4:15pm) and check on the status of my vehicle. To my surprise it had been ready and yet the service department did not contact me. I ended up having to go back to the hospital and had of I not called to inquire I would have had to go by ambulance. I love my VW. Best car I’ve ever owned - thankfully I’ve only needed to contact service a handful of times since becoming a VW customer 8 years ago. Sadly, although I’ve had a wonderful experience with my sales guy and I love my Jetta I WILL NOT purchase another vehicle from my local dealership. I will drive 2 hours out of my way instead next year when I purchase my new VW.

Jim Glenn, I'm pretty impressive on his services after sales. He is not only super in sales, but also super in services. Here is the story. My family just moved to Burlington and we are looking for economic 2nd hand car. On the first day which is on Saturday, I visited Autopark, Jim Glenn show me around and recommended me several cars. I'm interesting in the cars he recommended. Since it's very late and I decide to meet on the coming Monday morning and make the final decision. He print all the details about the cars I was interested in so that I can take a look during the weekend. While for he's on other business, I finally made a bargain with another employee. While this is not the end for him to continuous assisting me on buying the car. When he know I finally sign the contract, he was more than happy to express his congratulations to me and also to his employee who signed the contract with me. He's always around when I have questions on the cars. And when I got problem when doing the payment, he drove me to the Bank even it's after 6PM. After buying the cars, I found one of the key not working, and it's Jim again help me fix the problem. I was so moved by Jim. Even purchase was done with others, he's still with me, help me when there's actual problem. It's not just talk. He also promised I can always looking forward help from him when I got any problem in future on the car. I believe him. There are always people who are very good at sales, sometimes the relationship ended after the purchase finished. While I think super sales should also provide super services to win among the competitive market. That's the most valuable employee all the company want. Jim Glenn is one of them. I definitely would like to recommend Jim Glenn to anyone who want to buy a vehicle Thanks Maggie

I have been taking my car for regular maintenance for over a year now (oil changes, tire rotation, brakes) and they have been on time and the price has been consistent and fair. Mike and Nivine have also gone over and beyond to make sure I am happy, for instance, when i prepare my car for winter, the skirts have to be removed, they have washed and wrapped them to protect my interior. It was a nice touch.

Had a newer car in warranty that would not start. Service department wanted to charge me to diagnose the problem for an in warranty car that wouldn't start! I don't imagine this is what Kia wants to build their reputation! Go anywhere else. Amateur hour.
