I got my 2015 Santa Fe serviced on September 11/24 at Streetsville/Nav Bhattia’s Hyundai (SO #471943) to have the starter, front wheel, and brake and tail lights that were all acting up or malfunctioning looked at. I was taken care of in the service shop by the assistant service manager Chetan Batra and Omar, both of whom were great in person. An Uber was arranged to take me back home which was nice. Total charges for a new battery, ball joint and 2 lights was $830 or so - very, very pricey. I was told the starter was perfectly fine but right after I left to run some errands that late afternoon, the starter was still acting up. I emailed Chetan 4 times that same evening, with each email containing videos I took of the dashboard while the starter malfunctioned. He didn’t respond to any of my emails. On September 13th I got a call from a female named Alia from Streetsville/Nav Bhattia’s Hyundai to see how my recent service experience was, to which I responded that I wasn’t very satisfied, explained the situation to her and requested a manager call me back. She advised me that one would but to date, as of this writing on October 5th, nobody ever bothered to call me. This lack of accountability and behavior is shameful, having been clearly exhibited at different levels of the location or organization. Based on my poor customer experience, I wouldn’t recommend anyone getting their car serviced here… one can only imagine that the sales department may be as poor but who knows really.

I am furious about Ontario Hyundai mechanical service, I just picked up my vehicle from service department, but there are more problems coming out which didn't happen when I sent my vehicle to the shop this morning. 1. The car keeps running to the right when my wheel is straight, I have to keep my wheel turning left 10-15 degree to keep my car running straight! 2. My car's parking brake is not working on my driveway! 3. My gear lever is much much tighter and I can't even feel the N gear position, it is very easy to push from D to R without feeling anything at N gear. I request Ontario Hyundai to fix these problems for me for free, because they only happened after the service this morning, not before the service.

I scheduled an appointment for a recall. Everything started well. I dropped the car, they offered me a ride to work. I sent a text message with the address where I needed to be picked up after work. No one came. I called many times. No one picked up the phone. My wife had to drive from Arnprior to come and pick me up. Then we drove to the dealership. No apologies, nothing. I should have done my homework. They do not answer their phone when you need them. I would just stay way from this dealership.

I'm very disappointed with their services. I brought my car in to check the potential leaking of my tire and I have the tire road hazard coverage plan. At the end, I got charged over $350, which is more than 93% of the listed tire price. They said it represented the thread usage. However, this is a two year old car with about 47k km. I have no idea how they came up with this number and the invoice didn't indicate what the issue was with my tire. The road hazard plan costed me more than 3k. If you think about buying a Hyundai car, please be very careful about the plans that they sell you. They are not transparent about how they honor the warranty. Update: Garry told me that Hyundai determined that they owed me 47.64 dollar store credit. However, he told me that he could not do cash refund because he could not request a refund through debit machine. His dealership (Dilawri) does not allow an access to that. This is ridiculous. So technically, they can overcharge you and at the same time make you stay with them. This is a SCAM. In addition, even with the 47.64 store credit, which is unfair to me, I still technically paid 75.8% of the tire (354.31+30-47.64)/(398.99+45), which is ridiculous since the tire is only two years old under normal usage. I also checked my first tire change with them and they charged me about 90% of the tire price, but that time the car was only at 4 months and 15km. With the road hazard protection plan that costs over 3k, which I believe is mostly relevant to tire coverage, your tire will need to break about 30 times to reach a breakeven point. The sales person added it to my contract without even explaining to me in detail of how this works. I also sent a compliant to the email included in the reply below about 5 days ago, and of course, no response. I am going to file a complaint to Hyundai Canada directly. Hyundai's cars are priced relatively low compared with competitors in its class, but they can grab your money through those black box services and useless plans. This dealership is very shady. Be careful!

They told me an oil change would be $85+tx. When I went in they said it starts at $85 and could be as high as$150. When I questioned him regarding the high price. He said “I will see what I can do”. An oil change should be a fixed price for make and model. The service manager showed up and said they would do it for $85+tx. The people in the service dept.are dishonest and scamming their customers.

Had summeer tires installed in the spring. Asked for new windshield wipers...paid for them....and they were not changed..Streaking and chattering remain. . Ripping off an 81 year old widow is dispicable. They still have my snow tires...How do I get them back and know they do the job with integrity? Do I have to use their service to maintain the warranty? I just phoned for a service, appoointment and it was a lost cause! I gave up and hung up!!

Their Service department is terrible. 2023 Hyundia Tuscon Hybrid purchased new at another dealer because the wait time for a new one was 16months according to the salesman. Never had a problem with the dealer I purchased from but it was a rather lengthy trip for service (oil) etc. but made the trip because I was not happy with the Collingwood service Department. While making a trip home, all the error lights came on the front screen AT LEAST 20, AND then the emergency brake light came on when I parked the vehicle so I called the nearest service department,(Collingwood) and was told that they could not even consider taking this vehicle in for repair (down a Tech) and when I talked to the General Manager(Collingwood) I was told to take it back to "where you bought it " (We don't have time) then he suggested that I take it to another "newer" dealer because they might not be as busy !! Well, I called my dealer in Owen Sound, told them about the issue and the treatment in Collingwood and they called CAA had the Vehicle on a Flat bed for delivery to them and then supplied another vehicle to be used until they can find the error issue and repair mine. STAY AWAY from this DEALERSHIP in Collingwood. Nobody needs these attitudes and the problems they create for purchasers
