First interaction was great, sales person was really responsive and gave out great information and service. Fast track after the contract was signed. Calls and texts weren't being responded to, car was delivered with missing equipment and running after them for over 2 months now. Spoke to GM and he doesn't care about his customers. Yes I love the car and the product ( this is my 4th Hyundai) but you won't see me buying another car from them, giving them any referrals or giving them money for service in my lifetime. I recommend giving your business to someone else.

I purchased a 2025 Hyundai Tucson Plug‑in Hybrid 2025 from this dealership in October. The vehicle currently has only about 250 km on it (yes, only 250 km) and it is still fully under warranty. The car has a serious issue: if it sits unused for about 12 days, the battery drains and the car will not start, requiring a jump start. This should obviously not happen with a brand-new vehicle. I brought the car back to the same dealership to diagnose and fix the problem. When I returned to pick it up, I was told that the battery passed their test and they could not find any problem. I explained to the service advisor that I did not bring the car in simply to test one component. I brought it in to identify and fix the problem. His response was that there were no error codes in the car’s system, so they could not do anything. He even claimed that the vehicle is “designed” to be driven regularly and that leaving it unused for more than 12 days is normal. I asked them to put that statement in writing so I could escalate the matter to Hyundai Canada. Of course, they refused. The service advisor then brought me to someone else, presumably his manager, who suggested various unlikely possibilities such as me leaving the lights on or having a dash cam draining the battery. Modern vehicles automatically shut off lights and notify you through the app, so these explanations made little sense. I asked for a real solution. Instead, the manager suggested replacing the 12-volt battery for $480, even though they had already confirmed that the battery was not faulty. When I asked about the battery capacity, he said he did not know and did not bother to check, even though he knew the price. At this point I was already frustrated with the lack of professionalism. While we were speaking, another person—who never introduced himself—shouted at me to pay the bill and leave the store and accused me of questioning his staff’s professionalism. I later understood that he was likely the owner. When I tried to explain the situation and show him the issue on another vehicle outside, he refused to look and simply told me to pay and leave. I told him that if I bought a $20 item from Walmart instead of a $60,000 car, I would probably receive better customer service. His response was: “Next time buy your car from Walmart.” After being insulted in front of my wife, I had no choice but to pay and leave. To make matters worse, they charged me $180 for this visit even though the vehicle is brand new and still under warranty—and the issue was not fixed.

Very disappointing experience at Rexale Hyundai. We checked 5–6 times before visiting to confirm that the car was available. Their team kept calling us asking when we were coming, and every time they confirmed the vehicle was there. After we arrived and started discussing the deal, they suddenly told us the car had been sold an hour earlier. It was a complete waste of our time and highly unprofessional. On top of that, Manager Hark S. was very arrogant and spoke to us rudely. Instead of handling the situation professionally or trying to help, he was indirectly showing us the door. Customers deserve honesty, transparency, and basic courtesy. Definitely not the experience we expected.

Avoid. Happy with my ionic5 but the service from the first point of sale to any follow-up has been terrible. Third time going back to have a simple part replaced that was faulty at purchase and covered under warranty and still not resolved. I will be taking my service needs elsewhere and recommend you do the same! Communication is terrible and not thorough. Car left dirtier than when I left it etc etc

I purchased a 2021 Hyundai Elantra, and within 2 days I started experiencing serious issues. The steering wheel was shaking and the car was pulling on the highway. I reported this immediately and brought the vehicle in right away. They initially told me it was an alignment issue and claimed it was fixed—but the problem was still there. After bringing it back again, I pointed out that the front driver-side tire was leaking, but they dismissed it and said nothing was wrong, I ended up finding the leak myself (see photos below). Later on, they replaced a rear tire, claiming the uneven tread was causing the shaking and pulling. Meanwhile, the front tire I originally complained about was still not replaced, despite clearly having issues. It took them about a month and half just to replace that rear tire, and even after all that, the shaking problem STILL wasn’t resolved. Now they’re saying the issue is the rotors—but refusing to replace them because I’ve put more kilometers on the car over the past month and a half. That makes no sense considering I reported the issue within 48 hours of purchasing the vehicle. This was clearly a pre-existing problem that they failed to properly diagnose from the start. On top of that, the car has an ongoing starting issue that I’ve reported at least four times. Instead of properly investigating it, the manager was dismissive and spoke to me in a disrespectful way, essentially treating me like I didn’t know what I was talking about. This vehicle was sold as Certified Pre-Owned, and the inspection report states the brakes and rotors were in “excellent condition,” which is hard to believe given what I’m dealing with now. (see photos below). Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating experience—poor diagnosis, long delays, lack of accountability, and unprofessional customer service. I would not trust this dealership again.

Ioniq 6 with 3,700km - purchased April 1, 2026 new - car unresonsive to Key Fob and completely dead April 23, 2026. Unable to boost the 12V battery. Main battery 80% charged. Gained access to inside of car using mechanical key. Used roadside service - car towed to Hyundai of Oakville - the service dept and manager refused to let us drop the car off there - "I don't have the real estate for it - you can't leave it here" rude and defensive and no offer of assistance. I phoned roadside assistance and they advised to have the car dropped off on the side of the road nearby and phone back for another tow truck to be dispatched that would pick me and the car up from the side of the road to take it to a differrent dealership. The car was on dolly wheels as it was not possible to take the car out of "park". The Tow operator was unable to do 2 seperate bills so I told him I would pay the entire bill and asked him to take it to Mississauga Hyundai on Glen Erin Drive. I will never set foot in Hyundai of Oakville dealership and will advise everyone I know to avoid the dealership. Note I had previously convinced 3 other purchasers to buy a new Elantra there. I may never buy another Hyundai product after this experience. I'm without a car and have no loaner car. (I purchased a new Hyundai Pony in 1984) The quality and design of the Ioniq 6 is superb but the dealer service is abosulutely terrible! I received the worst customer service from Andrew and Chris. There was little to no communication. And part of the information I was given was inaccurate. This lead to my warranty claim running out and I am now over my km's and would have to pay out of pocket. It's really great knowing they take no responsibility in this. I WILL NEVER buy another car from Kitchener Hyundai and recommend if you want to buy a hyundai and get it serviced by hyundai take it to any other hyundai dealer.

I had a very disappointing experience at Stouffville Hyundai, and I would not recommend this dealership. I visited to trade in my black 2020 Hyundai Sonata Preferred (81,236 km) for a red 2022 Sonata Sport (around 73,500 km), listed at about $18,798. I was completely transparent about my car having an accident listed on Carfax, and as I was told by the previous owner, it was only a front bumper replacement with no insurance claim. Initially, I dealt with a salesperson named Sam, who was fine during the test drive. But things quickly became frustrating afterward. Instead of giving me proper numbers, I was repeatedly asked how much I originally paid for my car — which is not relevant to determining trade-in value. I clearly said I wasn’t comfortable sharing that information. Then the sales manager, Shayne Sequeira, stepped in and continued asking the same question in a dismissive tone, which felt very unprofessional and pressuring. After waiting more than 30 minutes, they came back with a trade-in value of just $7,500 for my 2020 Sonata. This was shocking, especially considering other platforms like Clutch and CarDoor were offering me around $14,000 for the same vehicle. Overall, I wasted nearly 2 hours at the dealership plus another hour traveling, only to receive a lowball offer and deal with unprofessional behavior. I would strongly advise others to avoid this dealership and explore better options elsewhere.

Very poor follow up. If you are buying a used car outright they cannot make money as they would if paying in monthly payments. Had to call dealership multiple times to speak to sales rep, then call again for outcome of autobody repair after awaiting call back for 2 weeks. Feel like once they have your money, they do not know who you are, and make very little effort to help. Follow up needs to be 75% of a salesperson job. Maybe training is needed in this area.

Had my 2014 Crosstrek in for suspension service at Marostica Subaru prior to a long journey planned for this month for specialist healthcare reasons. I have never experienced such satisfaction. The mechanical team took such diligent care! The supporting staff was kind, attentive and welcoming. Even the owner took the time to see i was well cared for and doing well. Remarkable. The result was my humble little Subie came out with a treatment suitable for a creation of Ferruccio Lamborghini. The car drove like brand new, as well, i am rejuvenated. I shall never forget the kindness and attention i as afforded this day, and suggest it is not a great car but great after purchase care that makes for lasting satisfaction, and continued loyalty.
