I recently had my vehicle serviced at Downtown Hyundai Toronto, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
Communication from the service advisor was not clear or professional. There was very little explanation provided about the work being recommended. Each time I visit, additional issues are pointed out and presented as necessary repairs. While these may be genuine concerns, the explanations lack transparency, which makes it difficult to feel confident in the recommendations.
Additionally, I was told the vehicle had been washed as part of the complimentary service. However, when I went to pick up the car, it was not washed, and I had to retrieve it myself from the parking area. There was no assistance bringing the vehicle to the front. When this was pointed out, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I also had to wait an additional 10–15 minutes without clear communication.
Overall, the lack of communication, transparency, and customer service was not what I expected. I hope management looks into improving customer experience and accountability.
