Transient from California. 2017 Motorhome. Brakelights out. Service Lady was combative and adamant Chevrolet not responsible--was aftermarket problem. Would not check fuses. Very uncooperative.

My 2019 is going back in for the fourth time for coolant leaking. First it was nothing, then it was a loose clamp then a whole new rad and now who knows. But it still leaks. Had high hopes for being able to stick with GMC but likely not. Just seems the dealer can’t get it right. Does not make us to confident. Back to Jap cars.

Stay as far away as possible! I am disappointed about the service of my car at this dealership and also to inform/warn other potential customers about the poor customer service treatment received. After finding the real problem, I realized that I have been ripped off for more than $1600 for service and parts which my car does not needed. I almost damaged engine in my car, because during changing wrong parts and diagnostics, they loose around half of the cooling fluid and they didn’t inform me about.

My husband and I have been loyal GM customers since 1970. After more than 40 years at the same dealership, we moved to Barrie and chose to become customers of Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC. It’s been a good choice from Day1. I consistently experience competence, care and courtesy from every staff member in all departments. Everyone’s experience is different. Sometimes things aren’t exactly as we would like. Sometimes our expectations are unachievable. Sometimes errors happen, and sometimes people do their very best. My recent experience at Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC demonstrates people doing their best. No matter how well we plan, ‘life can often alter our plans’. On July 15, 2022, a vehicle collision altered my plans- for that weekend, and the five months to follow. My vehicle was towed from St. Thomas, ON to Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC. On Monday, July 18, Laura was ‘on it’. Damages were being assessed and parts were ordered. No one could have anticipated that “supply chain issues” would delay completion of the work until Dec.20. It’s been said that, “How you handle a crisis is a test of your character.” The manner in which my ‘crisis’ was managed speaks volumes about the character of the staff at Georgian. Laura, in service, played a key role in overseeing the repairs to my car, and handling unpleasant calls from a very unreasonable insurance adjuster. She did not allow this negative pressure to affect her decision-making process. Her integrity protected my interests. The progress reports she gave me every week, during the entire 5 months, gave me the confidence and peace of mind I needed. Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC has earned my respect and loyalty. Why would I consider trading such a ‘sweet ride’?

Do not buy used here. They promote Lubrico warranties which cover nothing unless you can prove it broke regardless of history. Gus Brown diagnosis my 5.3liter engine as failing as it consumed 3.1 liters of oil every 5 000 KMS . Then it stopped and my oil pressure dropped but they said it was safe to drive Warranty did not cover repairs!’

Brought car in for transmission stalling issues (car wouldn't go over 3000RPM). Apparently, the "experienced mechanic" took the car out and found no issues. Diagnostics were run on car with no issues found. Four hours later after I made the call to see what was going on, I was told that the "knowledgeable" Supervisor said it was because the car mats were stuck under the gas pedal. (I always pull my car mats back in place before I get in). So for all this xx I had to pay $75 and the car is STILL doing the same thing that I brought it in for. Only bonus of the whole experience was Pat. Very friendly.

Only got one star because there wasn’t a zero. Hal Wrights dealership is by far one of the least professional local businesses we have ever dealt with. After far to many negative experiences after purchasing our first new vehicle, and returning for recalls with them I have observed very low morale amongst employees in service. The result of this has been little to no positive customer care and service. There is no accountability for thier mistakes. The is arrogant behaviour in management positions. Many years in professional positions has taught me that these behaviours come from the top. Their lack of integrity and values goes against the man who actually built this business. Hal Wright. And perhaps this is the difference in building a business or having it built for you. My hope is that the current owner will take these many poor reviews seriously. Be aware of the many many local GM owners who go out of town for purchases and service. AND make the changes that need to happen to make this an establishment they can be proud of.

Complete garbage Customer service! You would think when you spend $60,000 On a brand new Cadillac (not lease but buy), that they would treat you with the Cadillac experience? Ohh wait not here, anything thats included in your package you better be on the ball and demand it, otherwise they will pretend it doesn't exist. Somehow they have managed to ruin the experience of true service at this place and scheduling here is horrific! Certainly will not be buying my other vehicle from them here this year , or ever again thats forsure! Dont waste your time, go somewhere they appreciate your business!!!!!!!

Let me start with Corrado he was very nice to deal with in the body shop ! My GMC Terrain was rear ended and we were there to get it repaired. Picked up the truck a few weeks later which is understandable. The truck smelled like cat pee inside and was dirty. The repair seemed fixed properly and the out side looked like some one tried to buff the paint left all exposed metal touch up areas with No paint. Compound swirling everywhere. Very sloppy job . Never should this truck be released to me in this unprofessional condition. Ultimate failure. Do not recommend. Thanks thanks! Mike pacitto..

GMC - I’m embarrassed for you. My 2014 Sierra with 89,000km went into your shop (Hopper’s in North Bay, Ontario) 75 days ago with a blown lifter spring, with no explanation how that could happen, only to have it happen again a second time during the road test. That did not fix the root cause and since then have replaced the ECM, an injector and most recently the oil pump and still hasn’t solved the underlying problem. This science experiment continues to this day while being denied assistance and a loaner vehicle. GM does not value its costumers and continues to fail miserably at fixing and returning my truck in working order. I’ve never even heard of anything this disgraceful, let alone experience it first hand. This has been a nightmare and I will do my best to ensure everyone is aware of what it means to be a GMC customer.

Service is terrible and they refuse to warranty my trucks that they installed a lift in, they also dented my truck several times in one visit. they expect me to live with a spring slap clunk in the rear of the truck even tough it is new, and should have warranty. They originally told me that they sell several trucks with lifts and that it will not effect the warranty but not they refuse to fix the clunk now and say they are not responsible to do anything for me!!!

On our way to Kincardine, we had car problems on a Friday at 12pm. They could not promise to look at our vehicle but would try. It was a very upsetting day but the shop managed to look at our car and fix it. We ended up killing time by test driving a Trax. Then we spent time with Bernie on what it would take to get a new one. I told him we were honorable people and if decided to buy we would make the 2 hour drive to buy from them since they helped us. We are in the process of buying from them. A great team there. Thank you.
