We brought our truck in for service recently, the service was excellent, special care in customer service provided by their counter person Alex. Will be returning in future.

Purchased a new 2023 Honda CRV Sport in July of 2023. All went well and satisfied with the transaction. Now the service??? That's a different story. In May of 2024, I noticed the paint lifting on the driver's door near the door handle. Took it in for the service people to take a look at it. They took photographs and told me they would be sending them to Honda Canada for warranty approval. Between May and October, I called and attended the dealership to followup. The first time I went back, the service managet didn't recall me being there and him taking photographs. Again he went outside and took more photographs. Months go by and still nothing. This went on for 5 months. Finally I went in and showed my discontent. This time they promised they would make arrangements with a local bodyshop to make repairs. They said the whole driver door and rear passenger door would have to be repainted due to blending. The vehicle returned and right away as I drove in the parking lot I could see there was a circle of new paint where the repairs were made. It was visible as xxxx. The service manager and the dealership manager came outside at my persistence and looked at it. They both agreed that it was a shabby job and would have to be re-done. Never heard another word from them from that point on. As of writing this at the end of December 2024, still not a word. Knowing that I waited forever for the job to get done, I did not want to wait any longer, so I arranged to have the work done myself and paid for it myself. This is when I decided from now on I will be dealing with Orleans Honda. It's a bit further away, but well worth not having to deal with Hawkesbury Honda any longer. The only thing I will continue to do there is the removal and installation of my summer and winter tires as they are stored at their location. I just attended Orleans Honda today for a steering recall.....oh man what a difference!!!

Apparently, Henley Honda underwent new ownership in 2022 and it shows. I purchased my Pilot there in 2012 and did all required service for the last 10 years. In February, they told me I was due for a B14 service at a cost of $1730 plus tax. Last week, I called to make the appt and they told me the B14 was $1800 taxes included. I asked for a written estimate and the B14 became $2045 plus tax. That was a $500 difference from the previous day! Really? Good luck to the new ownership. I will take my business elsewhere.

I’ve been a service customer for many years and diligently maintain my lightly driven 2017 Expedition as well as previous Fords and at whatever the cost. In the last couple of years I’ve found disconcerting upselling of unnecessary services ( according to Ford’s maintenance guide). This last time (and it is the last time at this dealership), it was recommended I replace spark plugs at 40,000km earlier than the Ford guide. Also suggested throttle body maintenance, again nothing in the maintenance schedule although google search came up with 120,000km., which is my vehicle’s actual km. In reality, the vehicle just needed oil/filter and running board maintenance. I also had an annoying ceiling rattle that had been addressed at no charge on a previous visit and I asked that it be looked at again because the problem persisted. Quoted $645 with no indication that work would be guaranteed. You would think that a long-term customer who has spent upwards of $10,000 on service in last 4 years would be treated a little better. Actual mechanical services have generally been fine…….service advisors……have lost my trust.

Took SUV in for an oil change. Over the next weeks an oil stain developed on the driveway. Took car back and dealer found they had torn the rubber gasket on the oil filter when installing.

If I could have given a rating lower than one, it would have. The service department did not tell me to pay for parts in advance and when I took my car in for the scheduled appointment, they waited a half day to tell me they couldn’t do the work because the parts were not in stock. I told them to only do the one job and not order any parts in for the other and I would find someone else to do that work. They tried to upsell me on unnecessary work and then tried to charge me for the parts they ordered when i specifically said not to do order any. They don’t return calls and lie to cover their incompetence. I would t have let them do anything except the tire had to be replaced in order to drive the car. Worst customer experience ever!

Let me start with Corrado he was very nice to deal with in the body shop ! My GMC Terrain was rear ended and we were there to get it repaired. Picked up the truck a few weeks later which is understandable. The truck smelled like cat pee inside and was dirty. The repair seemed fixed properly and the out side looked like some one tried to buff the paint left all exposed metal touch up areas with No paint. Compound swirling everywhere. Very sloppy job . Never should this truck be released to me in this unprofessional condition. Ultimate failure. Do not recommend. Thanks thanks! Mike pacitto..

The service department got me right in and fixed up for a reasonable cost. They had the parts I needed in stock and was able to finish my trip with no further issue. Definitely deal with them again.

GMC - I’m embarrassed for you. My 2014 Sierra with 89,000km went into your shop (Hopper’s in North Bay, Ontario) 75 days ago with a blown lifter spring, with no explanation how that could happen, only to have it happen again a second time during the road test. That did not fix the root cause and since then have replaced the ECM, an injector and most recently the oil pump and still hasn’t solved the underlying problem. This science experiment continues to this day while being denied assistance and a loaner vehicle. GM does not value its costumers and continues to fail miserably at fixing and returning my truck in working order. I’ve never even heard of anything this disgraceful, let alone experience it first hand. This has been a nightmare and I will do my best to ensure everyone is aware of what it means to be a GMC customer.
