I'm 66 and for my retirements I bought myself a Honda - paulvonk60

I'm 66 and for my retirements I bought myself a Honda Civic Type R. It was very hard to get so I was in an not at fault accident at the University and my insurance company desjardins sent me to them and they said you don't have to take it there but They are one of our authorized centers and they have to guarantee their work will not fault like rust where they welded it. So I trusted that and went there and my rear. My rear passenger quarter panel had a small dent in it but the door skin on the passenger door needed to be replaced. So Roy Nichols decides to cut my whole car up and cut the quarter panel off and I was livid and the body man and older guy says yes I wouldn't have done that but I was told by Daniel to do it so I had to accept it and I was content as long as it was going to keep its composure and not rust in a year or two. And guess what happened he didn't seal the property. It started to rust really badly so I called him up and the woman is evil. She said too bad so listen to this. I was riding my bike the other day and I know Bob, the owner and just by coincidence he was outside blowing his leaves around so I talked to him and he's known me for a long time and I started talking about my cars. I have expensive cars and he does two and he says oh yeah I remember your cars. Yeah nice and so then I thought it was a perfect time to mention it to him. So he said well I don't know who did it. But if you did the job right that wouldn't happen. So Denny says what do you want done? You want it painted? That'll be 10 grand so you just contradicted and conflicted his statement. He says it should not have happened but then all the sudden he snapped and says give me 10 grand and I'll paint it. I told him what the insurance company told me that you're an authorized dealer and they guarantee that if the work fails like it rusts that they have to make it right and Bob didn't say okay. Bring it back and I'll take care of you. Nope he just became very mean and said so. What do you want you want it painted 10 grand. He didn't don't even know what it was. The rear quarter panel needs to be fixed. It's all rusting where they cut it and welded it and didn't seal it properly. Never take anything to them. They are butchers and use cheap parts. This is not a regular car. This was very hard to get. I had to go on a waiting list and I paid $60,000 for it and that's how Bob responds when you know. I thought by being on the level with him and he's known me for a long time and he knows I have nice cars that he would say. Okay, you know I'm going to take care of you. Bring it back. Nope he just then he changed the subject and says geez the leaves are falling. I got to do some work. Yeah it goes to show right away. I had this Epiphany he's blowing the leaves. He can't hire a person to do it. That's how cheap he is and he's like what 75 now. A real stand up Guy. The principle owner and his new body shopanager Trina. I talked to another guy same age as me and he has some expensive cars and he told him a similar thing happened there and they did something and butchered his car and he complained and they fixed it and then Daniel The previous body manager disappeared. He was a real piece of work that guy. Daniel, so after Bob says to me on the sidewalk that well I don't know who fixed it. But if they did it right that shouldn't have happened especially to your special car and then he contradicts himself and says what do you want you want to paint it. I said I want it to be like it was before it's got to keep his composure like the rest of the car. It's just 10 grand to paint it

Just purchased a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate - Brad

Just purchased a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate from Reid Bros Motor Sales and they were fantastic to deal with. Jim Kwiatkowski was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and helped me out so much! Being from the Toronto area it was the only dealership in Ontario that had this truck available and the Reid Bros staff made the 5 1/2 hour from home purchase smooth. Thanks again Reid Bros, you are a Wonderful Dealership, just wish I could get my service from you but its a bit of a hike from home. Thanks again, and highly recommend this truck!!

We recently visited Seaway GM from 2 hours away to look - Kayla

We recently visited Seaway GM from 2 hours away to look at a used truck. We dealt with Derek and he made this experience great. We had a bad experience at another dealership and he made sure it was not the case with Seaway GM. We traded in an SUV and both the trade and purchase went extremely smoothly and quickly. We also dealt with Scott to finalize the purchase and he was also great, explained everything in full detail. I would highly recommend dealing with Derek at Seaway GM for your next purchase.

Only got one star because there wasn’t a zero. - Roxanne

Only got one star because there wasn’t a zero. Hal Wrights dealership is by far one of the least professional local businesses we have ever dealt with. After far to many negative experiences after purchasing our first new vehicle, and returning for recalls with them I have observed very low morale amongst employees in service. The result of this has been little to no positive customer care and service. There is no accountability for thier mistakes. The is arrogant behaviour in management positions. Many years in professional positions has taught me that these behaviours come from the top. Their lack of integrity and values goes against the man who actually built this business. Hal Wright. And perhaps this is the difference in building a business or having it built for you. My hope is that the current owner will take these many poor reviews seriously. Be aware of the many many local GM owners who go out of town for purchases and service. AND make the changes that need to happen to make this an establishment they can be proud of.

first time customer here, I traded in for a brand new - IrbiOil

first time customer here, I traded in for a brand new truck and the saleslady Hailey was super nice and helpful, gave extra discounts too. I noticed a small body part misalignment (purely cosmetic, barely noticeable, does not affect driving at all), they booked me in on my first available date, had the replacement part ready on site and fixed it within half an hour.

Excellent Experience – Exceptional Sales & Finance Team. - pmg@bell.net

Excellent Experience – Exceptional Sales & Finance Team. My first experience with the fantastic team at County Chev was EXCELLENT. From the very beginning, Cullen Buchanan (Sales) and Dayna Noury (Finance) proved to be the ideal team to work with. Their prompt responses, friendly customer service, and high level of professionalism made the entire process of my new vehicle purchase so pleasant and seamless. I made the three-hour drive in my trade-in vehicle all the way from Hamilton to Essex, and I would gladly return as a repeat customer without hesitation! Highly recommended! Peter

Friendly place to do business. - Denis

Wish there were 10 stars, you deserve them! - jgb071081

Wish there were 10 stars, you deserve them! On our way home to the U S from a fishing/camping trip in Ontario, we experienced electrical problems in our GMC truck. Hauling our 30 ft travel trailer, we limped into the Dryden GM dealership. The service department staff was amazing! Within a short time, they fixed the problem and we were back on the road. Thank you so much Service Advisor John, Service Tech Luke and the entire service department staff for your kindness and expertise. You guys are the best!

I had one of the most disappointing experiences ever with - Ka4ok1331

I had one of the most disappointing experiences ever with Gus Revenberg Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd’s service department. I booked an appointment a week in advance to address three specific issues: 1️⃣ A vibration at higher speeds (I suspected wheel balancing). 2️⃣ A clicking sound when pressing the brake pedal. 3️⃣ A cracking or whistling noise when reversing and applying the brakes. After scheduling, they called a few days later to reschedule my original appointment — not a huge deal, but inconvenient. On the new date, I dropped off my car early in the morning and clearly mentioned I needed it back by 3 p.m. They didn’t call with any updates until 2:45, only to tell me that the checks weren’t even finished yet. Here’s what really frustrated me: • For the vibration, they just said the tires “need to be replaced” because they’re “at the end of their life.” My car is only three years old and mostly used for short local drives—how are the tires done already? I asked for balancing, not new tires for $450 each! • For the reverse braking noise, they said “maintenance is required,” although I already had a full service done only five months ago. • For the clicking brake pedal, they said they “couldn’t find anything,” but the issue still happens every time I drive. In the end, they charged me $180 just for the “checks,” didn’t fix a single problem, and didn’t even give me a clear explanation for any of the issues. This isn’t the first time I’ve left there disappointed. Previously, I took the same car in for a noise in the exhaust — they couldn’t find any issue, but another local shop identified and fixed it the same day. Honestly, I expected a lot more professionalism and competence from a dealership service department. This was a complete waste of time and money, and easily the worst service experience I’ve ever had. I definitely won’t be coming back.

Service did an oil change that was not mention and want $322 as still have 4,000 km left and 2 months left. Was supposed to do just the recall that were required. There was no mention on the paperwork about service and should see it was not do for the truck. Now i have no truck because of their screw up. Screen shot shows no service was needed only recall stuff ......

I recently purchased a new Buick from Tailor and had an - KateNW

I recently purchased a new Buick from Tailor and had an exceptional experience. It was my first time buying a vehicle and I was by myself but all of the staff made me feel very comfortable. The turnover was very quick and on delivery day everything went very smoothly. All promises that were made were followed through. My mats weren't in but Parts called the next morning and delivered them to me in Belleville which was greatly appreciated. Looking forward to servicing my vehicle at McCurdy's.

I left a cruse Cruze for an Oli change and I was told - Ide Guimaraes

I left a cruse Cruze for an Oli change and I was told that drain plug was too tight and it could break when removed, I didn't given them the go ahead as it would cost me an oil pan replacement, took vehicle to an independent mechanic and I witnessed drain plug being removed wt no effort at all, actually the garage charged nothing for the service. It makes wonder what really happened, I am extremely unhappy and disappointed with the quality of the service rendered, I left the vehicle at Boyer for hours for a simple oil change and I wasted my time taking it somewhere else. I always trusted Boyer for my vehicle but now I have second thoughts about it and I want to hear back from Boyer about it.

No one answering the phone in the service department - Unhappy Silverado Owner

No one answering the phone in the service department today (again). Drove in to have a flat tire repaired and have a few other things looked at. They could do the tire today I was told, but for the other items I would have to make an appointment for Monday. It's too bad you can't call and make appointments over the phone. The tire needed replacing and the quote for the tire (505) an TPMS sensor (115) seemed a bit steep. I asked if they could match Canadian tire's price (452 and 56). The service manager said yes, but I had to provide a current ad. I didn't have my laptop with me and couldn't find the tire on the phone, so he wouldn't discount them. I went to Canadian Tire to get a quote from them. They hand the parts in stock and technicians available. Getting everything looked after today and saving a bundle on the way. I'm not a big fan of Canadian Tire, but Myers service is far, far far worse.

The service department could absolutely use some - michelle.jackson7

The service department could absolutely use some intensive training on communication, professionalism, honesty and overall customer service. Extremely unprofessional behavior displayed by multiple employees in the service department during the almost month our vehicle was there. They had zero desire to look into an issue that was left unresolved upon picking up our vehicle. Brought it to another dealership and they found the issue immediately, and it was covered by warranty. The other dealership even questioned how Boyer didn't find the issue and the simple answer is: they did not want to even look. Not only did Boyer not care about our experience, but they also didn't care about the health and safety of our family. To say our experience at Boyer was a nightmare is an absolute understatement. Do yourself a favour and make the drive to a different dealership for your service needs.

I noticed somewhere that Hallman GMC in Hanover got a 4. - Albert

I noticed somewhere that Hallman GMC in Hanover got a 4.5 star rating. How anyone could give them a "less than 5" is beyond me. I've been going there for approx. 5 years and has had nothing but 5 star service. Somebody must have had a bad day (customer) Albert Hodder

**Warning** This dealership has NO - fraserf2009

**Warning** This dealership has NO regard for their customers. If you are not familiar with the parts return policy don't expect them to inform you at the time of point of sale what the return policy is. Apparently Dennis Searles feels that ever customer who purchases a part from them is in the industry and knows this information as I was told by the Parts Manager, even if you're a 17 year old boy. The part that he wanted to return was an electrical part that yes had been opened to ensure it was the correct part but was never installed, not that he didn't need the part but because he found the exact part on Amazon a lot cheaper. We also tried to have a conversation with Kevin Searles regarding this matter and was told "I'm not going to entertain this" and hung up on us. So word of advice, do yourself a favor and stay clear of Dennis Searles ... * A formal complaint has been filled with GMC Canada*

Transmission repair - GMstinks

My Pontiac vibe was shifting just a touch late from 1st gear into second. No big deal, I'll just bring it in to the professionals that know my car best. After a week the car still shifted late but now it was leaking fluid too. I spent $2000 and basically had the manager mocking the car I purchased shrugging his shoulders and saying well, what are you gonna do. GM head office was no help. I had an independent shop repair the car. They brought to my attention that the dealer also bent an axle while "repairing" my car. Nice job Giles! To bad you will never get any more of my money and GM won't either. No wonder you are in such financial troubles.

My experience with Lindsay (Aug/26) was amazing! - paularaposo1

My experience with Lindsay (Aug/26) was amazing! To say her customer service approach was excellent - is not a high enough praise. From the initial engagement, test drive, final contract agreement to pick-up she was knowledgeable, supportive and went out of her way to pick me up from home when my car was ready. She even ensured my phone was paired before I left. She not only helped me buy a car from an honest person but helped believe in my next steps. – Thank you so much Lindsay! I would fully recommend you to anyone interested in buying a car.

Spencers was recommended for service on my Z06, first - Z06

Spencers was recommended for service on my Z06, first service was a bit of a challenge getting it in for the service but managed and all went well. Then came the problems when I needed to get the first mandatory oil change and DCT filter, hard to get through to them and when the appointment was booked they called back and said they didn't have the oil for the oil change and then they couldn't get the DCT filter, this could have been availability on the items from suppliers so not really blaming this on them however it did seem strange that items like this wouldn't be in stock. The real problem is trying to get through to them, you call and they forward to service which never picks up, you are left on hold with no one coming back on the line, just silence. Call back multiple times over many days and they do the same thing. I tried last year and couldn't get through to book the appointment so put it away for the winter, tried again this year and the exact same thing. Even when you tell them what is happening it still doesn't change anything. What a shame. Jerry was good in the service area when you could get through. I give up, going to a different deal going forward. I have never dealt with anything close to this lack of customer support in my 40 plus years of dealing with any dealers. Amazing they still have a service department if they do this to all their customers.

I feel I was wronged by cooksville Hyundai. - oopoopeedoop1

I feel I was wronged by cooksville Hyundai. My husband and I purchased a 1 year Elantra this past May and we were told it was a rental car for the year before we had it. Not too long after I purchased it, the trunk would pop open the odd time but I didn't think too much of it at the time as I thought maybe we weren't shutting it hard enough but then eventually it happened again and I started looking at the back of the car and when I stepped back I now noticed that the top left corner looked slightly elevated but seeing as I didn't think it was a major issue or maybe a flaw when it was made I figured I would mention it to a dealership whenever I had to go in for maintenance. Just before Christmas the reverse lights went and it was not the fuse or the lights so now we were concerned. On January 31st we had it in to Burlington Hyundai and I mentioned the lights and had them look at the trunk to see if there was anything obvious causing the trunk to pop open. They called me back the next day and said just by looking at the back of the car and the inside of the trunk that they could tell it had obvious rear end damage previously and because of that the repair for the lights would not be covered and they needed 3 hours to take the back end apart to find the problem. Once they found the problem a connector was not connected for the lights and they took pictures of this once they got into it as well as the trunk. So the car that cooksville Hyundai sold me had previous damage and they also told me there was a warranty with the car that is not being honored because of damage that was hidden from us. The car report that Derek Morton sent me does not show an accident which means that either the rental company was hiding it or cooksville Hyundai. Derek said there was no damage on the report and when I asked him for the name of the rental company that owned the car because it was not listed on the report he said well that's because it was or just from an auction house and that he was just told that it was a rental therefore that's what they checked off on our sales form. Had I know and it came from an auction house I wouldn't have bought it. When I called cooksville Hyundai to give them the information Derek said all he could do was tell me to bring it here and they'd look at it and give their opinion but I told him it was already a part at Burlington Hyundai and that these issues were found and pictures were taken so he basically told me oh well I've done my job. So now I'm also looking at the fact that anytime I take in the car am I going to be told that there is damage and therefore it's not covered under warranty? I have sent emails to Derek which are now being unanswered and I asked him for the name of the auction house or the rental company or the copy of the bill of sale from the auction house to see if they listed damage. If no one listed damage anywhere whether it be the auction house or rental company, why is it that cooksville Hyundai did not see the damage to the car when they certified it because Burlington Hyundai said it was obvious and they could tell just by looking at it so even if this damage was hidden by the auction house why did Cooksville not report it and why am I paying for this now?
