Absouloutely terrible business, horrible service, nothing but crooks! In March of 2023 I purchased a 2015 Toyota Tundra with 94,578 kms along with a third party warranty that covers all powertrain, including the transmission. I was told at the time of purchase, the truck was inspected and "needs nothing". I started experiencing transmission problems within the first month of owning the truck, I then found out that the truck has had transmission trouble since August 2022 and was recommended by Toyota that the transmission be replaced (have all documents for proof). I returned the truck to lakeview multiple times over a 6 month period and they kept denying any issues and did not fix the truck. The truck now has 105,688 kms and the transmission is completely gone and the vehicle will no longer move, I'm now stuck paying off a 40,000 dollar loan for a vehicle that I can no longer use after only 11,090kms because Lakeview would not fix the issues that were present when they sold me the truck. Warranty refuses to cover the problem because it was there before lakeview sold me the truck and warranty, I have a copy of a quote I received from Toyota in Grand Falls-Windsor for the estimated cost of repairs ($15,000) Just a heads up for anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. I suggest you stay clear of Lakeview Chrysler in Gander,NL Nothing but pure crooks!

In the process of dealing with an issue 2 months after I bought my vehicle. Being told that my loan wasn’t done properly and I need to return my vehicle because of an error on their part. The finance person I was dealing with was fine to deal with however he was just the middle man aa he was being told something by the general manager and then calling me then going back to the GM and so on. So I thought it made more sense to cut out the middle man and go directly to the GM. I have to say, I have never in my life dealt with someone so rude and unprofessional in my life. He constantly downgraded me and made it out that I did something wrong when in fact is was a mess up by his dealership. I tried to work something out with him and just got shut down because it wasn’t exactly what he said. He kept cutting me off and wouldn’t let me speak at all. If you can not control your anger maybe you shouldn’t be running a business! I would recommend you stay as far away from this place as possible!

Platinum sheild Protection module - JeffNf

Brought vehicle to the dealer to get platinum shield protection module checked as light was not on. They checked the issue and said the module needs to be replaced. It could not be done that day because it had to be approved by the manufacturer of the module. I live 500 kms from dealer and when I purchased the vehicle I was told there is a local garage in my community that does minor warranty repair for them. Asked if they could send module out and get local garage to install. Service manager said this cannot be done because the local garage has never installed one and pictures would need to be taken. The work involved consists of plugging the module in to an electrical plug and mounting on a strip of Velcro. Doesn't get much minor than that. In regard to pictures I would think this could be done by almost anyone. This is the second one I had to get replaced in 5 years and the dealer installed and checked the wiring twice now. will not purchase here again.
