Most incompetent service mangers ever.
Brought vehicle in at 86000kms for engine oil issues. Burning 1 liter per 1500kms. Was told to complete Oil Consumption Test. I brought the vehicle back every 1500kms and they added oil every time. After the the four visits they said the vehicle was within spec. Said there was no issue. Brought the vehicle back at 130000kms, was burning 4 liters per 2000 klms. Capital Hyundai said they would now do a compression test (at my cost) a test they forgot to do the first time around the results show the engine is damaged Beyond repair and would have to be changed. The dealership submitted the results of the compression test to Hyundai Canada and tried to have the engine replaced under warranty for a crank bearing issue that wasn’t present. I was denied warranty because the vehicle was out of warranty period. The dealer told me too bad. And they would not be helping me with the cost of the repairs. The dealership really dropped the ball with this. They openly admitted to not following proper procedures with regards to not documenting how much oil they were adding to the vehicle during the oil consumption test.
I have never delt with a more incompetent bunch of people in my life.
