BEWARE THIS IS A CROOKED BUSINESS .Took my vehicle to dealer for oil change and safety check . Also asked to clear VSC warning light on the dash . Told them car was all running good and that I had just put in a new battery. Car is a 2005 Lexus sc430 . It is prone to show faults once you disconnect battery and reconnect . This was all explained to tech person who took the work order. Written on the work order . Reason for going to McPhillips Toyota is convenient as I live a block away . Phoned other service places what they charge to reset fault lights when getting other work done was $20 to $30 . The CROOKS AT McPHIPPILPS TOYOTA CHARGED $210 WHICH $60 was for PARTS AND SHOP SUPPLIES . CROOKS DID NOT PUT IN ANY PARTS YET THEY CHARGE $60 parts to reset fault lights . OH almost forgot mechanic needs to go for a joy ride TIM HORTONS with your vehicle after he resets the fault lights.SERVICE MANAGER SAYS THIS IS NORMAL CHARGES TO RESET ANY FAULT LIGHITS . THIS IS TO PAY FOR SERVICE BAYS AND MECHANICS COFFE BREAKS . SO BEWARE OOF THE CAR DEALERSHIP . NOTHING BUT LOW LIFE CHEATING CON ARTISTS . Now l have filed a claim with BBB . Who told me that McPhillilps Toyota is known to them for running scams like this . AGAIN BEWARE OF THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT OR BUYING LEMONS VEHICLES FROM . THEY ARE CROOKS
