Brought my 2014 Q7 for repairs. First I was told that I needed a new power steering hose. After being in the shop for 4 days, they replaced it and charged me $1200. Then I was told it’s still leaking and I needed to replace my power steering cooler and it would cost a further $1500 plus tax. Was suspicious so brought my car to a local Audi specialist (not a dealership) to get a second opinion. They diagnosed the problem as a loose clamp. Strange how the clamp was loose!?!? Shop repaired it for $100! Went back to Downtown Audi for an explanation. They downplayed it and refused to admit they did anything wrong. You can formulate your own conclusions. STAY AWAY!

The prices have gone way up in the last year. When I questioned this I was told that they raised their prices to be inline with Mercedes and BMW. Considering they are servicing Toyota engines, not fussy German built vehicles, I find this a gouge. Another thing, if you edit the service, such as; I don't need a $65 cabin air filter, or $100 engine air filter when those can be changed in 2 minutes by a customer. They give you grief and treat you poorly. The other gouge is the automatically tacked on $27 on your bill for washer fluid and fuel injector cleaner. I went in for just an oil change, and these charges were tacked on the bill. Washer fluid was empty and they didn't like being questioned by a customer. This is a charge that is meant to pad every bill, raising about $150k per year for the service department and the service managers bonus... Do yourself a favour and have it removed from your bill at the beginning of the service. Plus at Lexus, every 2nd service is just a "Visual Inspection" for $300. NO oil change, or maintenance takes place, it's just a "look over". If you don't bring it in for this, they make a big deal of it until you let them know you are onto their game. By the way, Toyota will service your Lexus for much cheaper... I've also read (but haven't confirmed) that the service records are dealership specific, meaning they don't show up on a CARFAX. So when you go to sell your car at a different dealership, it looks like you've never had dealership maintenance.

Awesome Service Department - hiroanz

The JP Scion’s Service Department is awesome!! I took my Subaru BRZ (mechanically identical to the Scion FR-S) in for an oil change today. The service techs notice rodent droppings in the engine bay (I park outside, no choice), and clean the entire engine bay for me free of charge. I was very happily surprise when I got home, popped the hood, and noticed how sparking clean the engine bay is. I did not expect them to do that. That is service way above and beyond my expectations. The prices are also very reasonable, much, much less than what Don Docksteader Subaru charged me for the same oil change. I also appreciate the free ride Downtown. Thanks JP Scion, you’ve earned yourself a repeat customer.

This dealership have always done a very thorough and professional job of maintaining my 2007 RX 350 over the last two years and having just bought a 2013 RX 350, I am looking forward to continued great service. They are knowledgeable and offer very good service advise. They even noticed small things like a burnt out running exterior light in the front end. Car is always ready when promised.

AIR Filter Replacement as tricky Extra Charge - D

Service. I am not coming back ! Every time their estimate is one number but ending with some mandatory extras .. they call you “during the service” and asking you (one example) “if you like AIR FILTER to be replaced”? if you ask them kindly if is possible to clean it with compress air, .. No, they insist to be replaced. On the very end bill much higher than estimated!!, That “Major” service consisted of changing Oil, Oil Filter, and Brake fluid. Everything else is checking, checking, checking . . . Taking huge money for $100 job. I’ll stay away from them.

if i could rate as a 0 . i will give them a 0 for the services . this dealer service manager jenifer doesnt do her job properly. it is been almost two year ,they keep telling me to do the small services ..the major services was due for more than 1 &half years . my break and tire rotation needs to be replaced for 18 months. but Jennifer team ,the services Richmond keep telling me everything is good after car maintenance . not just one time i was thinking , the team might want to kill me . for god sake ,for keep yourself be alive , dont go . these people not taking their job / customers seriously.
