They dropped my Discovery off their hoist and totalled it - Daniel L.
They dropped my Discovery off their hoist and totalled it in June 2023, when it was in for an engine replacement.
It's now been a year and dealership has still failed to make me whole. They dropped the ball so hard, their insurance company had to reach out to me directly to answer questions that the dealer either ignored or refused to answer.
Their insurance policy could not pay out the full amount that their insurance company themselves deemed the loss to be valued at due to limitations in their policy. David Campbell, their service manager and Phil Levy, the service advisor had committed to making me whole and committed to working with me to cover the shortfall and expenses I incurred over the past year due to this incident, only to tell me after repeated follow ups that this was now "over his head" and that he would connect me with their General Manager. This was 4 months ago.
As of the date of this review, they have still yet to reply to my phone calls and emails to the GM, and I have not had any dialogue at all with their GM.
Phil and David had also committed to ensuring I had continued use of a loaner until this was settled, but have since asked me to return it (which I did). I had ACL + Meniscus surgery this last month and am now car-less and have been unable to get to all my appointments that are critical to my recovery.
Have been a loyal customer of the brand for over 10+ years and this dealership's poor business practices are pushing me to a different brand that actually follows through on promises and takes responsibility for their actions.
