Chilliwack Ford has awful customer service!!! First my husband was scheduled for a recall issue. When he arrived, turns out they didn't have the part that they made the appointment to fix the part of. So they rescheduled to come and pick up the vehicle and bring it to the dealership to fix then return. They called my husband once and figured since he didn't get a hold of them that he would just know that they could no longer pick up his vehicle. I (his wife) works from home and offered to make myself available for them as he is a shift worker. So after they didn't show up, I called and they advised that they just "didn't have that many drivers on Wednesday to Friday" which was one of the dates THEY made the appointment. They came later and picked up the vehicle. Later we received a phone call indicating it may not be ready and they may have to keep it over night. I asked why wasn't this discussed since they know how long it takes and how long they have the vehicle compared to other services. Nothing but awful communication and I would not recommend them to anyone.

We've had nothing but problems with this dealerships service dept. The "lady" who works the service counter is everything but competant. She's screwed up our appointments on numerous occasions. She's forgotten our appts, forgotten to order parts prior to appts so we've had to reschedule, she's had to rebook the truck because "it's too much work for one tech" and most recently they've picked up the truck to do the work promising we would have it back same day only for her to screw up and now were out our vehicle. They have completely lost all our business and we wil be sure to make it very well known how xxxxty they are.

Twice I have been to this dealership for the same reason. I am severely disappointed with the service. Can’t be trusted. Even called day before to confirm my appointment with the condition they had the part. They said yes and we took the time off to get our 94 Mustang in on time only to hear our part was not in, apparently the part was crushed by the wrecking ball the night before. Any suggestions on another Ford Mustang dealership who can handle a Collector vehicle? Why not go the extra mile and call me before I drive on the lot? And I have to say while the service department is busy and works so hard I am sad to watch the older man who sits on the other side of the wall who orders the parts isn’t helping the service department as he sits in his chair with legs on desk not doing anything until time to go home. I would recommend that the man responsible for ordering the parts get in the pit with his coworkers and have his head around what needs to be done. You would like to see a car wash go with the tap on my credit card.

March 4th we picked up our Ford. After 5 weeks in the shop and hopefully a fully working car we got it back with a broken windshield and an extra 1200K on the Odometer. When we reached out to Ford to get an explanation of the extra added Kilometers on our car they said that the wrote the wrong Odometer number on the Service documents!! So please do your self a favour and document everything on your car before taking it for repair or service. Ford did offer to pay for the windshield though.

They provide great service for regular appointments. In my case, they also analyzed a problem carefully. Unfortunately, Hyundai sent a defective part and so I had to come back. They gave me the news with good humour so that I never felt annoyed and made sure I had a loaner so that I would only have to return when they knew the car was ready. Jim, the service advisor who helped me, is special.

I have a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle that I purchased at Comox Valley Volkwagen. It was one of the vehicles covered under the emmissions recall and it received the emmissions modification in 2018. It is covered under warranty through Volkswagen Protection Plus and the extended emmissions warranty through Volkswagen Canada. The turbo went on August 4 and I had it towed to the dealership for service on August 6, 2024. The turbo part was sent to Volkswagen right away by the warranty company. After that the mechanics diagnosed other problems with the engine they decided that the wrong oil must have been used. My husband sent an oil sample to Cat Finning and proved that the correct oil was used. As we live a ferry ride and it is an 8 hour round trip we tried to stop in as often as possible to check on the status of the repairs and to see if a courtesy car might be available. On October 22, 2024 we stopped by to check on the status of the car as the Service Manager would not call me back although I had asked for a call back many times.. My husband tried to address the Service Manager for a status update but she walked away from him. My husband then went out into the lot and saw that my car was extremely fogged up and the passenger window was open. He went back into the service station and aked the parts clerk for the keys to open the car. She went looking for the Service Manager and he found the Service Manager, the Mechanic and the Service Clerk out by my car. At this point they had closed the window. My husband demanded that they unlock the car so that he could see inside. He found that it was full of water and that mould was growing on all of the cloth interior pieces of the car. The Service Manager asked the Mechanic who had left the window open and he said I'm sure it was not him but that the car had been in and out four times so it would it be hard to keep track. My husband took pictures and asked to speak to the General Manager. He was introduced to Jon Beekman as the owner of the company. My husband called me to tell me what had happened and I called to talk to the Service Manager. This was the first time I had ever spoken with her in relation to the status of my car repairs even though I had left many messages for a call back. I also called the Finance Manager to express my upset as I had been speaking with him to try to get a status of my car and he was willing to call me back. The problem with that is that he could never provide me with a status but said that he would have the Service Manager contacgt me but she never did. The Finance Managre also said that Jon Beekman was the owner and that he was talking to my husband right now. I have asked but have not been granted a courtesey car for even one day so far. We called ICBC today to file a claim for the mould problems and during that call we found out that Jon Beekman is not the owner but that the owner is in fact Jim Revenburg. I have been asking for the General Manager's name since September 5, 2024 when we realized that the Service Manager was ignoring us. My car has 82,000 km on it and is covered under extended vehicle breakdown protection and Volkswagen Canada's extended emmissions warranty. We have never been treated so poorly by a car dealership. I would never purchase a car or take a car for service to Comox Valley Volkswagen again.

Took my 2008 Jeep JKU to Coquitlam Chrysler for 3 factory recalls. Arriving they did a code scan on it and showed them to me. It had an evap leak code which I knew about and told them I could fix myself, all it needed was the evap pressure sensor replaced. No codes related to overdrive/tow switch and instrument cluster switch stuck. After picking up my jeep, I noticed that the overdrive light and function didn't work. Jeep shifted into overdrive fine but I could not select the tow function myself. I ran a scan at home and found 2 new codes. I took it back to Coquitlam Chrysler and they said it had nothing to do with the work they had just done and that it was just a bad coincidence for me. There is also an instrument cluster switch stuck open that they refuse to acknowledge. After all this they would however, fix it for $1,100. They also added insult to injury by charging me $60 for them to check their work. Just one of those dealership experiences that you hear about but hope never happens to you.

Poor service. The windows on my 2021 Niro EV operate erratically - going up or down, seemingly at random, no matter which way you push the button. Or just not working at all. After waiting over a month for a part, they failed to fix the problem and now, due to a lack of staff, I have to wait two more weeks for them to attempt to diagnose the problem again. They don't seem to see it as a safety hazard despite the fact that someone could get a hand caught in the window when it goes the wrong direction. Also very disappointed by the cheap electronics after only 3 years because, while waiting for the window control part, a new problem developed. The passenger seat belt warning dings continuously whether someone sits in the seat or not. Underwhelmed.

Set up appointment for service due to engine light which came on. Also mentioned that there was a gas cap light on as well, but that was not our priority, the engine light was. Dodge Cranbrook took our 2013 RAM 1500 in, told us that diagnostic fee of $175 + tax will also apply to any repair the truck might need. After 1.5 hrs we were called and told that a faulty switch was the culprit and that total price, including the switch and taxes came in just under $400.00. When we payed the bill and subsequently turned the truck on, the engine light was fully lit up on the dash as it was prior to our appointment. The gas cap light was off. When we immediately return to the service department to ask why the actual issue we brought in the truck for was not fixed, we were told that each light requires new diagnostic charge and that, if we wish to address this second light, we have to have another appointment (we travel 29km one way to get to this dealer) and pay another diagnostic fee. No applogies were given. We had multiple dash lights on in the past and the dealership on Vancouver Island, we usually deal with, always charged only one diagnostic fee to diagnose all issues associated with all the lights. The total charge for this second repair was $1200.00 and did include another diagnostic fee of $179.00. Although the Service Manager was very polite and patient and so was the curtesy car driver, same can not be said for the front desk clerk who assisted us on intake.

I recently purchased a 2008 Ford Taurus AWD from this dealer. Some weeks later it appeared that there was a leak in the trunk. I took the car to Dave Landon Motors for repair. It determined that it was in fact condensation. The carpet was removed and cleaned and a prevention tip was provided by the dealer principal, Todd Landon. The cost was reasonable, the problem solved, and I was impressed with the service level. I continue to be pleased with my purchase, and will certainly return to this dealer for any future service needs. Brian Thurber

Every time I go to this dealership, either for service, or a small/scheduled repair, or to see what the inventory is - I always get what I need. Last visit actually surpassed my expectations, I needed a headlamp replaced - not only did they replace it, my car was washed, they removed the glue that had marked up my windshield, the paint off my front bumper - everyone goes over and above with whatever I need! I believe it was Tyler who I spoke to, he did all the extra things, he went over and above, and he always does. The service department and the parts department are excellent!
