I went to this dealership with my brother to buy a new car for him and i was impressed by how good the building looked even when I walked in but then I was immediately greeted by Devin Chapotelle, he seemed kind at first but then it quickly turned sour because as soon as he formally greeted me he then insulted my brothers weight and made fun of me for my hair color, and then he told us to follow his twitch that was something like Itzdoobin or itzpoopin or something like that very aggressively, and then to top it all off he grabbed me and my brother by the shirt and kicked both of us out of the store. I highly warn everyone to never go to this place and stay far away from anywhere this "Devin" character goes.

I recently traveled from Northern BC to the Vancouver area to trade in my 2005 Outback for a newer Subaru. I was hoping to find the right vehicle quickly, but I was a bit nervous about the whole process. I found something I was interested in at Tricity Mitsubishi, and from my very first interaction, sales consultant Andre Mezadre made everything incredibly smooth and stress-free. He responded to me quickly and worked with me to arrange a viewing at my earliest convience. I really appreciated his prompt replies and willingness to work with my schedule. Andre was professional, punctual, and genuinely kind. He took me on a thorough test drive, explained all the features well, and patiently answered every single one of my questions. He really put me at ease and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire experience of buying a new car. I was equally impressed with sales manager Jerome Rodriguez. He inspected, test-drove my trade-in, and gave me a very fair and honest price for my old Outback. He was genuine and I felt completely respected and treated well, something that made a huge difference to me. As a woman buying a vehicle on my own, I was initially intimidated and worried about possibly being taken advantage of at a dealership. I’m so relieved and happy to say that's not the case at Tri-City Mitsubishi. The entire team treated me with respect and transparency, and the whole process felt honest and straightforward. I also greatly appreciate the ICBC agent who handled the insurance for my new vehicle. She was fantastic! Patient, knowledgeable, and she took the time to help me find the best third-party coverage to properly protect my new investment. From start to finish, everyone at Tri-City Mitsubishi was incredibly helpful, polite, and efficient. What could have been a stressful and overwhelming experience turned out to be surprisingly easy and even enjoyable one. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and the service I received. Went in to dealership to buy a vehicle for our senior parents. Sales manager Philip Britten on duty was horrible and not very nice to 84 year old seniors trying to buy a Rvr. Mgr thought his pricing was best and would not negotiate with seniors. We feel bad for the salesman Manraj Garcha who helped us find the right Rvr vehicle. I hope sales mgr learns more respect for senior’s with family supporting them in purchasing a vehicle. We left dealership over $500 dollar deal and a very rude sales mgr. Be cautious on who and how people are dealt with. Don’t think I would suggest this location to anyone else.

It was a good experience, and I successfully purchased my car with the help of Noor and Aiden from the finance department. They even stayed late to ensure my purchase process was completed. overall all the team was very helpful and we are happy with the service.

I ordered an accessory by phone for them to order in for me. When it came in they called me the same hour. I dropped by as I was passing and they installed it for me--just good service. Then I said that I had a question for finance, but was asking Parts and Service instead. Kailey said "I don't know, but I'll get an answer for you, sir, right away", and away she went and got my answer! Now THAT'S good service.

I found myself in the dubious position of needing to buy a car on-line in June as I was moving back to Vancouver from overseas and had to have wheels ASAP on arrival. The crew at Newtype were very patient with me being extremely cautious about this sized purchase without actually being able to meet them in person. They made all the arrangements required prior to my landing in Vancouver and when I arrived at the dealership everything went very smoothly and I was able to drive off in my new Outlander completely satisfied with the purchase I had made. Great job gentlemen !

They sourced a car for me. Mislead me about included features then told me to spend more money to get features I was told it had, didn't disclose vehicle history to me and lied to the VSA about all of it. Super sketchy dealership. Avoid.

Not happy, somewhat upset. - NotAHappyCamper

I took my old FRS in to try to reduce my payments. I was offered a few test drives and decided on a Lancer of equal value ty trade, which is fine. I liked this car more. They even reduced my payments by a whopping $6/month... Crazy right? The best part though? They added a year to my term, and lied about it, then hid it in the paperwork. So now I'm paying for an extra year THAT'S NOT SAVING ANY MONEY! So now I get to pay nearly 40,000 dollars for a car that's worth 22,000 at best. The sales tactics are pushier than most places, they wouldn't let me leave and guilted me until I put a deposit down. I was in a vulnerable position and was taken advantage of, don't let it happen to you too. Remember guys, you're allowed to say NO. Thanks a lot guys. Don't go here or to the Ford dealer next door, they're operated by the same staff and sold me the FRS previously mentioned for 8,000 more than our original agreement.
