My story is long, and if you’ve been following my saga - Angela
My story is long, and if you’ve been following my saga you may want to take the time to read this. I’ll start with the moral of the story, Sunny Gill of Downtown Audi and the Dilawri Group are only looking after their bottom line, they don’t care about you. They will try to give you as little as possible if you have an issue, my advice is fight for what is rightfully yours, and check your brake rotors. If you are looking to buy an Audi, there are better places to spend your money, don't give it to a company with no integrity and cares only about making money. Now, if you want to know why I say this, read on…
Oct 2023 purchased brand new Q4 Etron with full iZEV and CleanBC incentives totalling 9k
Jan 2024 discovered that it leaks, bring it back to DT Audi, they give me a loaner while its being fixed
Jun 2024, they still can’t fix it, last resort is to remove the hatch window and redo all of the seals, fix didn’t work, still leaks
I want a refund, haha we know that isn’t going to happen, then give me a new car
Sunny Gill insults me by offering $47k to trade in my car that never should have left the factory
Sorry Sunny, NO! the 2nd offer comes through.
OK, we'll give you a new car, a better one..and Sunny isn’t making any money, and he is sure to tell me that
All I want is a vehicle equal to my original purchase, if you wanna give me a better one, that’s your decision
Sunny tells me that the 2024’s don’t come with a charging cable, I have to pay $550 for a cable, but he graciously offers me a 10% discount
Hey Sunny, my 2023 came with a cable, so I expect that any replacement vehicle should come with the same…again he cries that he’s not making any money off this transaction, this isn’t a transaction Sunny, you made the money on the first car I purchased, this a replacement of a defective vehicle. He agrees to throw in the cable
End Jun 2024, I am sure they want me off the books, they offer me a black Q4 (originally purchased a grey), and they'll cover the upcharge for paint,
I go to pick up my new vehicle, do the walk around and notice significant rust on the passenger and driver side brake rotors, I had issues with the previous vehicle rotors which I didn’t notice till after, they note it and will be revisited in a few months.
They still owe me a tow hitch which is on order, we’ll see how long that takes (a month later and still no hitch)
OK, almost done, have to sign the paperwork to do the transfer, no money is exchanged, this is a replacement.
They want me to sign another rebate form for the iZEV (5k) Transport Canada rebate. Again, I'm not, buying a car, no money is being exchanged, so why should DT Audi get the rebate AGAIN?
I refuse to sign it, but they won’t give me the car unless I do. I try to negotiate, DT Audi gets the 5k, give me $2500 in extras...now Regan Judd (Sales Manager) steps in, no we can't give you anything that costs us! Stalemate....so I ask for the logos in black and an at cost wrap. Regan agrees...and to date, 1 month after the promise is made, and I have followed up with Regan, no response. But should I have expected any more? Nope...this type of customer service is to be expected.
By this time I’m about to lose it, so I sign it, and I’m done.
If you’ve come to this point of my story, you’re interested, this has been the worst purchase with the worst company I have ever made. At the end of Sunny Gill apologized for all the turmoil we went through, too little too late buddy, the damage is done and this is where we are now.Honestly, I came out on top, I got a newer car with better range and more pep, but was it worth the hassle? Definitely not, I would have rather got my money back and never stepped foot in DT Audi
