Took an almost new vehicle in for minor repair, appointment was at 8am and they didnt even look at the vehicle until after 2pm and told me i'd have to wait for parts that they said they had already ordered and had in stock. This is just the latest of several terrible experiences i've had there. Drive to Red Deer or Rocky Mountain House and save yourself some frustration.

Dealing with Brenda from the service department was a pleasure. We broke down this summer while visiting GP and Brenda with her team had us back on the road in less than a day. This was best service I have ever had at any service department. Thank you to all the team at Ken Sargent.

Completely disorganzied buisness...Changed my quote 3 times(Quotes are legally binding you cant change them,estimates are different...)They had it for 2 weeks before they even ordered the part that my car required ...When they finally ordered the part they tried to get me to buy a new battery from them (When I just bought the new one from them a month earlier)Didn't fix all the issues that I left on the list for them,picked up my car after it being there for a month only to have it completly shut down on the highway.Only for them to say "They couldn't replicate the issue" and that "I was missing fuses" (Find it kind of odd how they didnt do a load test/check fuses very first during the diagnostics" And they broke my passenger seat...Will not ever give them any buisness nor ever recommended them.The only good thing was they paid for the tow back to the shop and fixed the problem "they couldn't replicate"

They will sell you the wrong parts and not take them back even if they’ve never been on a vehicle they sold me the wrong parts opened up the box seen was the wrong ones took him back with the receipt and they wouldn’t take them back it’s ridiculous

Dealing with Okotoks Chevrolet has been nothing short of a total disaster. I had a "service brake pad monitor" alarm come up on my dash while the vehicle was under warranty. After contacting this location, I was advised that my vehicle was 67 km over my warranty, I explained that the light came on under 60k but I had to get home and to the dealership which put me over. After a brief conversation, they agreed that the part would be under warranty as the code came on while under warranty. After picking up my vehicle from the dealership, I noticed several days later the warning was back on the screen. I then booked it back in with them at which point I was told the part was defective and they were going to order a new one. Several months later, I brought the vehicle back and the part was replaced, but not after trying to charge me. After a brief conversation, they replaced the part I had no cost to myself. When picking up the vehicle this time around, I immediately noticed after starting it the code was back on. I spoke with the service advisor who told me that they will book it in again, but at a cost to me. I asked the service advisor if this problem has persisted since day one, how was it now a cost to me as it was misdiagnosed from the start? I didn’t believe that I should be paying for any of this. I suggested that if anybody was paying anything, perhaps they should pay my time for the inconvenience of bringing the vehicle back over and over at which point she told me I was a rude person. I asked the advisor if I had used bad language or raised my voice and she was unable to answer. At the end of the conversation with the service advisor she let me know. This is the last time she will not charge me for a diagnosis, but if it was caused by something other than the monitor, I would be paying out-of-pocket. I am appalled at the service I have received at this location.

I highly recommend Scougall Motors. From the moment we entered the dealership everyone was so welcoming and so friendly. The service manager was just fantastic dealing with our 2016 Buick Encore engine light problem we encountered on our journey back home to BC. They got us in first thing and we were back on the road by 2:30 that afternoon. Adrian in parts was just super. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and management. They truly make you feel like you are in good hands.

.I've had nothing but superior service here. Chris takes care of his customers and provides honest and professional service. This is the only dealer who touches my Camaro. All other dealers have proven to be untrustworthy and abusive to my car, Strathmore takes care of us each and every time.

This place is the biggest ripoff dealership in this town and i'll never go there again. Charged me 1,794 dollars for two headlight assemblies when all was required was to replace two bulbs. I'll give it 00000 stars. The worst i've seen in my 67 years.

Poor customer service - Looking for a Fair dealership

After having my vehicle stolen, insurance informed me that the vehicle would need to have a complete mechanical inspection. I decided to have this dealer perform the work as in my previous career I was a journeyman technician in a GM dealership and believed that they would do the best job for me. After the inspection was completed I was informed that the vehicle would need front and rear brake pads and rotors as they are getting worn (not as a result of the theft). I decided to wait on this at this time. The vehicle was detailed within the dealer which was not what was requested and authorized by insurance. The oil was changed and a wheel alignment was completed. When I picked my vehicle up I immediately heard a rotational noise that changed with vehicle speed. I immediately returned to the dealership, after driving less than a block, and advised the service dept of the noise. A quick road test with the shop foreman and the vehicle was heading back into the shop. I later received a phone call stating that the brake rotors are warped causing the noise. I was skeptical as the noise I heard was not a brake type noise. When I returned to pick the vehicle up the second time I was presented a bill for rechecking the for the cause of the noise. I argued that the noise should have been noted in the inspection however I am now doubtful that it was ever road tested. I argued the new charge to no avail and ended up paying to get my vehicle back. Mysteriously when I drove away I noticed that there was no longer that rotational noise. How did that happen I thought. After all brake rotors don't un warp. I believe that something was not tightened up and as a result they charged me more and blamed it on the brakes that I did not wish to have them change. Upon arriving home, I removed the wheels to have a look at the brakes. The rotors have some rust on them however not severe The rear pads have about 20% life remaining and the front pads have about 30% life remaining. For these reasons I would not recommend this dealership. I am just fortunate enough to have the education and background to know when I am being taken.
