I visited Genesis North Calgary to sell my 2021 BMW X1, and met with Scott Mathieson. The leadership team carefully evaluated my car, and made me the best offer at $34,000. We signed a purchase agreement, and I surrendered my vehicle and keys. But after one full week, Genesis North Calgary refused to honor our agreement and pay me for my vehicle. I finally returned to the dealership to collect my car. This experience is unsettling, as we both signed a purchase agreement - a binding legal contract between two parties that obligates a transaction to occur between a buyer and seller. Genesis North Calgary's business practices are both unethical and illegal. I would not trust them for any vehicle transaction - including purchase, sell, trade or service. Buyer Beware.
