Brought car in for loss of overdrive. Code read blocked or plugged ‘C’ solenoid. Removed pan, replaced overpriced solenoid, hopefully new oil, and… no overdrive. Tested for broken wires, shorts, discovered signal from PCM was sending an erratic signal. A used PCM was sourced from a wrecker, and installed. The car was in the shop for a week.
