I bought a used Jetta, and apparently my front brake calipers were not tight. One of the bolts fell off and the caliper was touching my rim as I was driving. Making an extremely long story short, I am dealing with a better qualified dealership. As to my knowledge a female mechanic worked on my vehicle (at Yorkdale Vw) Not to be discriminating but i as a female trust a male automotive technician rather that a female due to this life threatening reason now! Don Vally vw is a way better dealership if your looking for a vdub. Save your self some time and your life and go elsewhere. Cheers people! Don't go through what I've gone through More

I think that the car wasn't properly inspected and it was let go out of the lot with faulty brakes as it wouldn't stop at times. It turned out that was a some broken pin and I had to go back a few times because they kept on changing things like the master cylinder etc. I just wanted to change the car for anther one and even offered more money to get rid of this one, called VW Canada and in the end I just had to accept a new car with a break repair right out of the lot.. I wasn't given anything for the troubles I endured but on the positive side the car was fixed. More

The staff pushed me to get my signature on paper and they don't care about level of their voice and attitude. They are not listening at all. Also, if you are not expert in cars don't go there. The specifications and condition of their cars are not as they claim. More
Poor quality product, difficult to deal with, poor listening I bought a new 2013 Volkswagon Passat from the Yorkdale Volkswagon dealership at 600 Wilson Avenue in Toronto. 3 months after I bought the car it star I bought a new 2013 Volkswagon Passat from the Yorkdale Volkswagon dealership at 600 Wilson Avenue in Toronto. 3 months after I bought the car it started to make really loud noises constantly and especially while braking and a rattling sound. Also the heater knob jumps automatically to high when it is turned to the second setting. I have complained multiple times to the dealership and they told me that the sounds the car was making was normal and they have not fixed it for me. The car is till under warranty and they have refused to fix the problem or even to admit that there was a problem. I would not have expected a brand new car to have problems. And the problems with the car keep getting worse! I would like the media's help to expose the dealership for their poor business practices. More

He was always angry, rude, and very ill-mannered. He didn't mind calling at 10:00 pm either. I was supposed to bring the car to my mechanic, which the sales guy and I agreed on. He set me up with other guy to help me bring the car to the mechanic on August 1, Friday but it did not work out. I was supposed to go sign all the paper the very next day, August 2, Saturday to finally get the car. I talked the sales guy over the phone to tell him that I couldn't bring the car to the mechanic. While I was talking to him over the phone, he got phone call from someone else and he called me back after 3-4 minutes. As soon as I answered his phone, he started yelling at me. I tried to talk to him but he was saying "Stop there, I am not gonna listen to you. We are not going to sell the car to you okay??" and he just hung up the phone. I understand that sales job is not easy. However, if he cannot control his temper and he takes anger out on customers all the time, he shouldn't really deal with customers. Also, when he refused to provide services and products to someone on behalf of the dealer shop, he better have legally reasonable reason to do so. If the reason I was rejected and treated unfairly was only because I was complaining, who will be able to buy a car? Should all customers stop complaining and do whatever the sales guy asks to do? All this without any strong arm pressure, in fact so relaxed I have recommended all my friends and family to Yorkdale VW. More
worst experience in any dealership that i ever had. for a VW dealership that has such great name well that name for me now is no longer at high standards. from salesman to service and to top it all off to VW VW dealership that has such great name well that name for me now is no longer at high standards. from salesman to service and to top it all off to VW customer care or don't care as it should be called. there 115 point inspection is truly a very bad joke. i would have had a better dealing with some fly by night used car lot then this dealership should be operating from the back of a gas station maybe then they will have to work hard to earn the confidence of their customer. but to bare the name VW made in Germany is a real sham. there should be laws in place against such dealerships. anyone can take three pages of point checks and sign off that all these things have been checked. and their customer (don't) care at VW backs them up. that's they will make whatever deal because they know that once the customer signs they are stuck with the car no matter what kind on condition they delivery it. i can go on and on but please JUST STAY FROM 600 WILSON AVE. that's at the corner of dufferin and wilson. Who knew that buying a car can be done with no pressure even when you work with a limited budget.. Emile (my sales person) desribed to me several Jetta options that may be right for me and took his time t even when you work with a limited budget.. Emile (my sales person) desribed to me several Jetta options that may be right for me and took his time to help me make a decision between the clean diesel and gas models. Once I decided to go for a specific trim, he searched for the car and rushed it as I needed to have it in 2 days. These guys are fast, helpful and they don't rush you, and as a result I highly recomend them! I just got my first free car wash which reminded me that I need to share my experience at VW Yorkdale.. From an incorrectly quoting over the phone, to getting the lease incorrect, all the way to getting the wrong delivery date and missing the fact the tint was wanted on the car...to finally delivering a BRA the lease incorrect, all the way to getting the wrong delivery date and missing the fact the tint was wanted on the car...to finally delivering a BRAND NEW car that was dirty on the inside with a layer of dust on the dashboard and the sales guy simply saying "oh ya, sorry" without correcting...this has to be one of the worst dealership experiences I've been a part of...so disappointing to be treated so poorly and with such little care. I'm sorry that someone purchasing a car from you is such an inconvenience to your day...other than a house, a car is the biggest purchase most people make, it's SUPPOSED to be an exciting moment, you're not supposed to regret it immediately, especially because of terrible, shady service.
