Best buying experience in Prince George. I was looking for a new SUV for my family as a better vehicle for winter driving than my four door sedan. This was the second dealership I talked to about SUV’s and it’s where I ultimately decided to buy. Matt Wakeham was simply amazing to deal with. Upbeat, polite, and professional, he took the time to talk to me about my lifestyle and how my choice would fit into my day to day routine. I was given the opportunity to use the Equinox for the day to see for myself if it really was what I was looking for. After the test period I took it back to the dealership and dropped it off. I wasn’t pressured to buy like I had been at the other dealership I had test drove at earlier in the week. I liked it enough to ask Mr. Wakeham to get me prequalified for financing. Matt linked me up with Harry Johal and Harry too was polite, professional, and had a sunny disposition. I took the night and slept on the decision. I called in and told Matt I’d take the vehicle. I was told it would be detailed and be waiting for me with a full tank of gas for the next morning. The next day I went in and saw Matt. He walked me through the last bit of sales paperwork, did my walk around on the vehicle, and helped me do my first call setup for my OnStar service. Then again I was handed over to Harry to finish up financing and extended warranty decisions. While I waited between paperwork signings Matt showed me around the dealership and let me meet some of the service team that would be handling my complimentary oil changes and helped me book the first service for the new car. From start to finish I felt valued and respected. I would 100% recommended Matthew Wakeham and Harry Johal at Wood Wheatons GM Supercenter to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle in Prince George. Great Experience I started my search with a favourite from a competitor in mind but the options Garett presented us with were exactly within our price range and had so I started my search with a favourite from a competitor in mind but the options Garett presented us with were exactly within our price range and had so much more to offer. He walked us through the features and differences was confident with the information he had a knew where to find any info he didn’t have off the top of his head. We were from out of town so we had our two dogs with us and he made sure they were happy while we test drive the vehicles.
