I drive an older Cobalt with a manual transmission and my shifter cable seized. Apparently, there are not enough people driving manual transmissions of that vintage, so that part is no longer produced in Can shifter cable seized. My service advisor, Chase, went above and beyond trying to find one, even contacting transmission shops. Chase and the technicians worked out a solution - remove, lubricate, replace - that worked! I can't actually remember the last time it was that easy to shift! thanks so much for the extra effort and the solution that lets me continue driving my standard, for a few more years at least. More
