He thoroughly covered all features of the vehicle, encouraged a good test drive, and provided appropriate information on all options available. Derek Meikle, the financial manager, is very friendly, kind, polite, knowledgeable and competent, outlining all the options available. These options were presented to me with adequate detail and he accepted my decisions. In other words, he did not try to pressure me into making any decisions other than the ones I chose. If anyone I know is looking to buy a new vehicle, I would highly recommend Winnipeg Kia, and suggest that they ask for Randy. And, of course, there is only one Derek. My husband and I were in the market for a small SUV recently and I was pretty convinced I was going with a domestic SUV until we stopped in at Winnipe My husband and I were in the market for a small SUV recently and I was pretty convinced I was going with a domestic SUV until we stopped in at Winnipeg Kia. One of the first things I liked was the honesty that the domestic SUV I was looking at was a good vehicle too. Right from the first words from Devon, we quickly realized that he was not going to put down the other makes of SUV's just to obtain our business. What he did do was listen to all my wants and the things I didn't want to be "upsold" on. Not once did we feel any pressure from Devon to consider vehicles I didn't want. He took us for a test drive in a 2015 Sorento which was priced better than the 2014 domestic I had been looking at. After showing me the EX version with the heated steering wheel, I was hooked and in love with it. The entire process right from the moment we met Devon to the last moment when he put the plates on my new car, it was a pleasure dealing with him. In addition to our enjoyable experience with Devon in Sales, we worked with Derek the Finance Manager who is always a joy to talk to. He explained everything in detail and gave us numbers that "didn't change when it was time to put pen to paper" like I have seen almost everywhere else. He held true to his word on everything he promised and again, he didn't try to sell us additional stuff we didn't want. All in all, I am truly grateful for both of these gentlemen as I was very sick of the traditional salesman who tries very hard to upsell you on everything. The good old "wink and a gun" sales techniques that I detest. Not once did I feel as a woman, that I was being given the run around or made to feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. Not to mention all the laughs we had along the way! Thank you Kia for making an SUV that I am in love with but thank you more to Winnipeg Kia's employees for making the process easy and comfortable the entire time. More
