After 4 months and 3 calls we finally had the parts come in to fix it. We were advised that this is what to expect when you buy a new vehicle, since parts are not readily available?! We authorized the seat work, and my husband waited 45 minutes for it to be completed, only to find out that the work wasn't done since the wrong parts were ordered and the car had been "ready" earlier since they couldn't do the work, with no phone call. They didn't bother to notify us, just a sales rep noticed my husband in the waiting area as they were close to closing, and no vehicles currently be serviced... We also noticed stone chips on the rear wheel wells with a brand new vehicle, and very few KM on it (and we don't live on gravel), so we anticipated some support in fixing the problem. (touch up paint, different mud-flaps etc. were all discussed over the phone as viable repair options. Then when it came to close we were told the stone chips are our fault and they won't do anything to fix them - since warranty doesn't cover that. So, we are back at square one. They provided no viable solutions (under warranty or otherwise for us). We have really been left high and dry on this. The quality of service and the quality of the vehicle is certainly questionable if paint is going to be chipping this early, and no support it going to be provided. More

First Time Buying A Car Made Easy I was living in White Rock, BC when I came to the decision to move back to Northwestern Ontario after my sublet was up. A month before my best friend and I started our cross-country adventure back home, I started haphazardly looking for cars in excellent used condition at just about every Winnipeg car dealership. I found the Winnipeg Kia website at around the same time that they were having a clearance sale on 2014 Kia Rio's, and I saw one that immediately caught my eye for a more than reasonable price. I decided to email the dealer, on a lark, and I ended up talking to Mike Shaw. Mike and I emailed back and forth about the car for about two days (as I got coached by my brother), and at the end of it he'd successfully sold me the car. I didn't feel taken advantage, though, or like there was some shady things happening. Mike was very forthright throughout, and very intentional about making sure that I was taken care of. This was my first time buying a car, and I'd gladly work with Mike again. Of course, given the excellent state that the car I got was in, I shouldn't have to. Oil changes aside, of course :) More
