The deal was the deal. The price was the price. We had looked at several other brands and were turned off by what has been known in the industry as the dance of the turkeys. It is with great pleasure that, as a senior citizen and a former insider working for a dealership that gave me free rein to deliver to the consumer the right package, with a minimum of fuss, I found that Kia Winnipeg subscribed to my personal philosophy. Working under three different sales managers, they would frequently say - Oh what a boney deal that was! My response was always the same: four or five deals a day with a modest profit. We were better served in the long run by earning the respect and indeed the return business when customers were treated well. There was, however, a miscommunication somewhere along the line, where we were as much in error as the dealership. Some of the add ons that we believed were part of the package became an additional cost - i.e. we thought the tires were included. We thought the roof rack was included in the package, and were not given the price. In particular, an extra remote key which turned out to be appallingly expensive, would not have been chosen if we had been given the price. More

2011 Sorento I felt there was a bit of a lack in communication, however the vehicle had not been inspected at the time I bought it so the pick up date was an estim I felt there was a bit of a lack in communication, however the vehicle had not been inspected at the time I bought it so the pick up date was an estimate. It ended up taking a week longer then expected which was fine just wish they would have communicated a bit better. I felt I was bothering them when I called to inquire on ETA. Steve did however fill up the tank and let me pick a gift which was nice even tho I had to ask for it and when we walked in the first visit we were told we could pick a gift from the tree if we purchased new or used. Vehicle came was clean and sound when I picked it up. Doug was thorough in showing me how everything worked. Doug is very quiet however and to be honest Steve sold the vehicle. I do love my new vehicle and hope to get many years of travel out of it! More

Annoying hidden fees. I recently took my 2015 Sorento in (12/14/17) for the 48000 kilometre service and while I am generally happy with the overall experience, l feel I nee I recently took my 2015 Sorento in (12/14/17) for the 48000 kilometre service and while I am generally happy with the overall experience, l feel I need to comment on one aspect. The basic fee for pkg #4 was $449.95 which included a number of what I assume are necessary maintenance items. Now I understand PST and GST need to be added to this cost, what I didn’t expect was an additional fee of $35.68 (plus pst/gst) for what was termed as “supplies”. I was not aware any such fee would not be covered by the $450, which was high enough, and when I asked about it I got the standard response “well all dealers charge this”. I was very disappointed and even though it was not a huge sum, it was more the principle of the thing. More

Now, 7 years later I decided to upgrade to something bigger, which was a hard decision to make as I LOVED my Soul. I initially wanted to sell my Soul privately, I wanted the most for this vehicle, it was still brand new. I inquired with AJ on the price of a my new vehicle, at which point I was still determined to sell privately. I then met with Steve who explained a few things which made so much sense in the end. After all was said and done, Winnipeg Kia bought my Soul and I was in my new Sportage within the weekend. AJ, Steve and of course Nicole....THANK-YOU so much for making this another GREAT experience. I love my new Sportage and I am positive my beautiful little Soul will go to a good home. This dealership makes you feel at home and they treat you like a friend. No pressure, they just want to see you smile. I look forward to many more years with the gang over at Winnipeg Kia. More

I'm totally impressed immediately on how he presented and he never pressure me to purchase the car as I wanted it for leasing only. We are all set for the leasing and Nicole from Finance made an awesome job to clearly explain to me the benefit of financing compared to leasing and I got all the deal. I just got my car a month ago and I never did the review until I completely got what I want for my car (winter tires & remote start) from Sean of Service department. I usually don't give a 5 star because I believe there is always room for improvement although everybody did an excellent job. More
