Upon entering the dealership we were greeted by f My fiance and I were shopping around for a vehicle and came across a 2012 VW Tiguan at Winnipeg Kia. Upon entering the dealership we were greeted by friendly staff and felt right at home after the first minute of talking. What we thought was going to be another painful dealership experience turned out to be the best thing that happened to us that day. The staff was and is very hospitable and wanted to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Mark was an excellent salesman to deal with and never gave us a feeling of being under pressure just to make a sale. We were treated with respect and dignity the whole way through. After looking the vehicle over, going for a test drive and sorting out payment options we met up with Krisite who is an absolute pleasure to deal with! She as well was very warm and friendly, making us feel at ease during the entire finance process. She's the kind of person you just want to keep talking to. I can't thank the people we interacted with enough, it was as if we were all best friends and had known each other for years. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle, no other dealership compares in my opinion. I am very thankful and blessed for the experience, it couldn't have been any better!!! More

We had a terrible experience at another dealership, but Winnipeg Kia was the total opposite. As soon as we walked in Mark greeted us and helped us out. He was very friendly and professional, which was the experience we had with everyone we spoke to there. Kristie the finance manager was amazing as well. She made us feel comfortable and at ease, which was the polar opposite of our previous experience with a manager at another dealership. The manager we met with at the previous dealership made me feel extremely anxious and terrible about my credit score, which Kristie informed us was definitely not as bad as he told us it was. We would absolutely recommend Kia to anyone looking to buy a car. More
2014 Optima Hybrid came with no spare tire! Recently for the first time since owning my vehicle, I had a flat tire on my 2014 Optima Hybrid purchased in March 2015. To my surprise when the t Recently for the first time since owning my vehicle, I had a flat tire on my 2014 Optima Hybrid purchased in March 2015. To my surprise when the tow truck driver arrived, there was no spare tire, but a (damaged) mobility inflator kit where the spare wheel chamber is. Never once did the salesperson who sold me the vehicle ever point out that the vehicle did not come with a spare tire. The last 3 vehicles I bought new, all came with a spare tire! When the tow truck driver took out the kit in it's original packaging, you could see that the air inflator was damaged. Obviously something fell on the kit and cracked it in several places. This was the very first time I looked in the spare tire area to notice no tire and now, a damaged inflator kit. The tow truck driver looked at me and stated, lets hope this inflator works and it did. It got me to take my vehicle to a tire shop where they repaired the flat. I placed a call to KIA on United Blvd. and first spoke to Chris in Service and gave him the complete run down of what happened and how I came to find out that one, I had no spare that I was ever told about and two, the inflator was damaged. After a short discussion with him, he asked me to take pictures and send them directly to Steve Klassen, Sales Manager. My first email was sent to Steve Klassen on March 12, 2018. I did not receive a response and sent a second email to Steve Klassen on March 15, 2018. On March 16, 2018 I received a short reply from Steve Klassen stating it was his day off on March 15, 2018 and that he was in meetings in the morning on March 16, 2018. His closing statement was that he would do some investigating and that he would be back in touch with me later that afternoon. That would be March 16, 2018. It is now April 25, 2018 and I have not received one call or email with respect to this issue. Is this how Winnipeg Kia does business? Do they not care about their customers experience and or issues that arise? It certainly seems like someone is try to pass the buck, but I do have a lot of time on my hands. This is not how you handle customer inquiries. It was an inquiry a month and a half ago, but about to become a complaint. At the end of the day, DISCLOSURE should be the biggest part of your sale. Your dealership need to advise your sales associates that they are required to disclose what the vehicle has and what it doesn't. Again, I reiterate, your sales associate NEVER disclosed that the vehicle had no spare tire. I had to find out the hard way and then was told through my inquiries, it had to do with better fuel economy. How much fuel will you save without the weight of a spare tire in your trunk compartment? Really? If the mobility inflator kits all it came with, then I want a new kit, not a damaged one! If that was shown to me when we first took the vehicle out of the showroom, it would have been noted that I didn't have a spare tire and that the kit was in fact damaged. Why would you leave a damaged inflator kit in the trunk of a brand new vehicle? I am now being serviced by KIA West on United Blvd in Coquitlam, British Columbia for the last two plus years and as I've indicated to Chris at the Winnipeg dealership, your dealership should take a blue print of how KIA West handles their customers and deals with customer issues. They are fantastic and customer appreciation is huge with their dealership! Never once have I ever been disappointed with their overall treatment of myself and especially with the condition my vehicle is returned to me after each service.
